RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY
Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuch. Show me a man of integrity and I will tell you he will be blessed and his children are blessed after him. Proverbs 20 vs. 7: The just man walks in his integrity, his children are blessed after him. Those who retain their integrity are preserved and guided, but the unfaithful are destroyed. Proverbs 11 vs. 3 (NIV): The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. David said in Psalm 25 vs. 21: Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on you.

Show me a man of integrity and I will tell you he is just and fears GOD. A man of integrity will retain his integrity no matter the circumstances he finds himself. Joseph said how can I do this great wickedness and sin against GOD? When his master’s wife casted her eyes on him and asked him to lay with her. Retaining your integrity is necessary and paramount. GOD delights in men of integrity, He fights and defends them. He favors them. Daniel was brought into favor for retaining his integrity. Joseph was also favored in the sight of the keeper of the prison. Genesis 40 vs. 9: There is none greater in this house than I; neither has he kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife; how then can I do this great wickedness and sin against GOD? Vs. 21: But the LORD was with Joseph and shows him mercy and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. Have you defiled yourself and remained unfaithful? You can still be faithful and retain your integrity. It takes determination and a pure heart to retain your integrity. GOD is a merciful GOD, He can still show you his mercies; if you repent and surrender all to Him. Do share with others, if this write up has blessed you. It is well with us..

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
