RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY 2

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY 2
I King 9 vs. 4-5: And if you will walk before me, as David your father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes and my judgments. Then I will establish the throne of your kingdom upon Israel forever as I promised to David your father, saying: There shall not fall you a man upon the throne of Israel. It pays to walk in integrity. It pays to retain your integrity. King Solomon failed to walk in integrity and in uprightness like David his father did. He married people from nations GOD instructed his people not to marry from. They turned his heart from GOD and turned his heart to their gods. 1 Kings 11 vs. 4: For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods; and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his GOD, as was the heart of David his father. His your heart still perfect with the LORD? Are you still walking in integrity? Are you still retaining your integrity?

Moreover, the bible defines another man as a man of integrity. Despite all these man faced, he retained his integrity. His wife questioned his integrity and told him to curse GOD and die; but Job retained his integrity. A man of integrity will be perfect in the sight of GOD. A man of integrity will be upright and will fear GOD. A man of integrity will stay away from evil and corruption. Job was a typical example of a man retaining his integrity, because he faced a lot; yet he retained it. Job 1 vs. 1: There was a man in the land Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright; and one that feared GOD, and eschewed evil. Job 2 vs. 3: And the LORD said to satan. Have you considered my servant Job that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears GOD and eschews evil? And still holds fast his integrity, although you moved me against him, to destroy him without cause. Job 2 vs. 9-10: Then said his wife to him, Do you still retain your integrity? Curse GOD and die. But he said to her, you speak as one of the foolish woman speak, what? Shall we receive good at the hand of GOD, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. Mind you, people will question your integrity; but hold fast to it. It takes a GOD-fearing heart and an uprightness heart to retain integrity. Whether the circumstance is good or bad, you have to walk in integrity. Luke 16 vs. 10: He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. We are complete in CHRIST which is the head of all principality and power, so we must retain our integrity. Integrity starts within you; many are not sincere with themselves. Integrity within will be seen outside by all men. Start retaining your integrity and hold fast to it today. RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
