RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY 2

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY 2
I King 9 vs. 4-5: And if you will walk before me, as David your father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes and my judgments. Then I will establish the throne of your kingdom upon Israel forever as I promised to David your father, saying: There shall not fall you a man upon the throne of Israel. It pays to walk in integrity. It pays to retain your integrity. King Solomon failed to walk in integrity and in uprightness like David his father did. He married people from nations GOD instructed his people not to marry from. They turned his heart from GOD and turned his heart to their gods. 1 Kings 11 vs. 4: For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods; and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his GOD, as was the heart of David his father. His your heart still perfect with the LORD? Are you still walking in integrity? Are you still retaining your integrity?

Moreover, the bible defines another man as a man of integrity. Despite all these man faced, he retained his integrity. His wife questioned his integrity and told him to curse GOD and die; but Job retained his integrity. A man of integrity will be perfect in the sight of GOD. A man of integrity will be upright and will fear GOD. A man of integrity will stay away from evil and corruption. Job was a typical example of a man retaining his integrity, because he faced a lot; yet he retained it. Job 1 vs. 1: There was a man in the land Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright; and one that feared GOD, and eschewed evil. Job 2 vs. 3: And the LORD said to satan. Have you considered my servant Job that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that fears GOD and eschews evil? And still holds fast his integrity, although you moved me against him, to destroy him without cause. Job 2 vs. 9-10: Then said his wife to him, Do you still retain your integrity? Curse GOD and die. But he said to her, you speak as one of the foolish woman speak, what? Shall we receive good at the hand of GOD, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. Mind you, people will question your integrity; but hold fast to it. It takes a GOD-fearing heart and an uprightness heart to retain integrity. Whether the circumstance is good or bad, you have to walk in integrity. Luke 16 vs. 10: He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. We are complete in CHRIST which is the head of all principality and power, so we must retain our integrity. Integrity starts within you; many are not sincere with themselves. Integrity within will be seen outside by all men. Start retaining your integrity and hold fast to it today. WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...

TOLERANCE

TOLERANCE I start quoting Robert Green Ingersoll “Tolerance is giving every other human being every right that you claim for yourself ”. This is a virtue every man scarcely has nowadays. Men nowadays find it difficult to tolerate each other. In all religions, Christians are to exhibit tolerance the most; because CHRIST stated that it’s the second greatest commandment. Matthew 22 vs.38-39: This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. But the reverse is the case now, most Christians exhibit intolerance. They can’t tolerate their Christian brothers talk less of those outside their religion. This is awful and not so good. Hebrews 13 vs. 1-2: Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unaware. Abraham exhibited tolerance, he suddenly noticed three men coming toward him and ran to meet them and welcomed them. He gave them water to wash their feet’s...

WINNING THROUGH TESTIMONIES

WINNING THROUGH TESTIMONIES 2! An earthly father will be delighted and willing to do more for his son or daughter, when she/he shows gratitude. How will you feel when you give something tangible to a person and he didn’t show gratitude? You will feel unwilling to do more for such person. Our heavenly Father deserves to be shown gratitude for all He has done in our lives. Thank GOD for what He has done in the past, what He is doing presently and what He will do in the future. There is no little testimony; you just have to appreciate GOD for his faithfulness and marvelous deeds. Marvelous deeds like, the gift of life, which is the greatest of all blessings, good health and sound mind, sleeping and waking up. Many slept and never woke up, while many find it difficult to sleep. We have to see reasons to appreciate GOD; doing these will gladden Him to do more for us.              However, problems, trials, challenges might be in...
