LOSING YOUR CLOAK THAN LOSING HIS PRESENCE.

LOSING YOUR CLOAK THAN LOSING HIS PRESENCE
I start with 2 Corinthians 3 vs. 17: Now the LORD is that Spirit; and where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is liberty. Psalm 16 vs. 11: Thou will show me the path of life; in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand is pleasure forevermore. GOD’s presence carries His Glory. GOD’s presence carries His Spirit. GOD’s presence carries His power. There is fullness of joy in His presence. At His presence hills melt like wax. Psalm 97 vs. 5: The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the LORD of the whole earth. The Red sea parted into two and the children of Israel were able to go on dry ground through the midst of the sea, because GOD’s presence was with them. David knew the importance of GOD’s presence. He said in Psalm 51 vs. 10-12: Create in me a clean heart, O GOD, and renew a right Spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. GOD’s presence is important in a man’s life. It is paramount to be a carrier of GOD’s presence.

However, Moses told GOD if thy presence goes not with me, carry us not up hence. GOD told Moses to depart and lead the Israelites to the land He promised their fathers; but He said I will send an angel before thee; because of the Israelite’s stiff neck. Exodus 33 vs. 1-3 (NIV): Then the LORD said to Moses, leave this place, you and the people you brought up out of Egypt, and go up to the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, saying: I will give it to your descendants. I will send an angel before you and drive out the Canaanites, Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. Go up to the land flowing with milk and honey. But I will not go with you, because you are stiff necked people and I might destroy you on the way. Sin and unrighteousness causes a man to lose the presence of GOD. The Israelites committed sin and this caused GOD to call them stiff necked people. GOD cannot behold iniquities, for His eyes are too pure. It is better to lose your desires than lose His presence. Vs. 13-15: Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight; shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight; and consider that this nation is thy people. And He said, my presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. And he said unto unto HIM; if thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. Moses pointed out the essence of GOD’s presence in that passage. Joseph lose his cloak and fled from his master’s wife, than him losing and fleeing from GOD’s presence. No wonder GOD’s presence was with him even in the prison and brought him into the palace. Genesis 39 vs. 11-13 (NIV): One day he went into the house to attend to his duties, and none of the household servants was inside. She caught him by his cloak and said, come to bed with me! But he left his cloak in her hand and ran out of the house. When she saw that he had left his cloak in her hand and had run out of the house.

Samson was ignorant he has lost GOD’s presence. He lost it on Delilah’s lap. Judges 16 vs. 19-20: And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him. And she said, the Philistines be upon thee Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him. Many are ignorant they have lost GOD’s presence; many never even experienced it before. Ask GOD like David to create in you a clean heart and renew a right spirit within you. Thirst for His presence and ask Him to release His Holy Spirit unto you. Never lose GOD’s presence for once; always be a carrier of His presence. If this write up has blessed you, kindly share with others. It is well with us..

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
