THE DAYS OF ADVERSITY 2

THE DAYS OF ADVERSITY 2 This trend of write up continues from where it stopped. Joyce Meyer wrote “ The eagle has no fear of adversity; we need to be like the eagle and have fearless spirit of a conqueror”. The Eagle is a distinct bird with various characteristics. Let’s consider some, The Eagle has vision; whenever an eagle sits high above the tree or cliff of a stiff mountain, it’s attentive. Its body sits still and the head will be tilted side to side to observe what is happening below, around and above it. Eagles have a keen vision. Their eyes are specially designed for long distance focus and clarity. Clarity and being focused on GOD brings one out of adversity. Job was focused in days of his adversity. Despite all that befell him, he never for once lost focus on GOD. His wife told him “Do you still retain your integrity? Curse GOD and die.” He didn’t sin with his lips, even while his friends scorned him and forgot him, he still focused o

THE DAYS OF ADVERSITY 1

THE DAYS OF ADVERSITY 1 I start quoting Roy T. Bennett: “Challenges and adversity are meant to help you know who you are. Storms hit your weakness but unlock your true strength”. Adversity is the state of adverse condition. It is a state of misfortune. It is unfavorable. The days of adversity either breaks or make a man. Many have been conquered in their days of adversity. Many have been knocked down in their days of adversity. The days of adversity shows how strong you are. It shows how resilience you are. Resilience is the mental ability to recover quickly from depression, misfortune, challenges, storms, difficulties, adversity. Life is no bed of roses. Life is full of challenges, difficulties, adversity, storms, depression, and oppression. Anyone expecting a life full of pleasant situations, untroubled existence is deceiving himself. But we are rest assured and have peace because CHRIST said in John 16 vs. 33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peac

TO THE FAINT

TO THE FAINT The faint are those lacking strength, weak and languid. They are also wanting in courage, spirit or energy. They are timorous, dejected, depressed and disquieted. The faint are with fatigue, hunger or thirst. Many a time circumstance, adversity and difficulty make a man faint. Fainthearted men lack strength. Fainthearted men panic and are terrified. Fainthearted men are always defeated. 2 Timothy 1 vs. 7: For GOD hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power and of love and of a sound mind. GOD hasn’t given us a faint heart but he has given us a strong and vibrant heart ready and prepare for the day of adversity. Proverbs 24 vs. 10: If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. Strength from GOD is needed; a man’s strength cannot help him in the day of adversity. Only GOD’s strength can sustain one and can make a man prevail. 1 Samuel 2 vs. 9 b : For by strength shall no man prevail. Philippians 4 vs. 13: I can do all things through CHRIST

GOD IS IN CONTROL

GOD IS IN CONTROL When someone is in control, it shows the person is powerful and has authority. When someone is in control, it means he is capable to do and undo. A person in control rules and dominates. A person in control is supreme and sovereign. A person in control is utmost and paramount. The earthly kings and rulers are not in control, they still have a higher and ultimate Ruler, which is GOD. GOD is the KING of all kings and The LORD of all lords. He is sovereign and supreme. He is the creator of the ends of the earth, the heavens, men which become earthly kings and rulers. He created all. He is the Ruler of the Universe. 1 Samuel 2 vs. 8: He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory; for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’s, and he hath set the world upon them. Proverbs 21 vs. 1: The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water; He turns i

HE THAT COVERS

HE THAT COVERS To cover is to hide and to conceal. A man cannot be wiser than his Maker or Creator. GOD is our Maker; He molded us and formed us into what we are. He is the Potter, we are the clay. Jeremiah 18 vs. 6: O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? Says the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the Potter’s hand, so are you in my hand O house of Israel. GOD sees all and His foolishness is wiser than man’s strength. 1 Corinthians 1 vs. 25: Because the foolishness of GOD is wiser than men, and the weakness of GOD is stronger than men. A man that covers his sins prospers not; but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Proverbs 28 vs. 13: Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Cain was a tiller of the ground; Abel was his brother and was a keeper of sheep. Cain brought fruits of the soil as an offering to GOD, Abel also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat; which the

NO SAFE PLACE!!

NO SAFE PLACE! I have come to the conclusion that there is no safe place on earth. We see nations rising against nations; we see one race rising against another race. We hear unpleasant news daily from the media and internet. The world now is corrupt and filled with violence. Men’s heart is full of evil and desperate; who can know it. A man’s household turns out to be his enemies; a man’s friend turns out to be his foes. Many trust in their arm of flesh for safety, but the arm of flesh fails. Many trust in horses and chariots, but horses and chariots fails. Many trust in technology, but technology fails. When you look around the world today, you will also observe no place is safe. Even palaces and earthly kingdoms with guards and reinforcements, that still doesn’t guarantee safety. Even if a man secures his house with the most expensive security gadgets and measures, that still doesn’t guarantee his safety. Navigation on the sea with the largest vessel doesn’t guarantee

WHO IS A CHRISTIAN 2?

WHO IS A CHRISTAIAN 2? I John 2 vs. 2-6: And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we know HIM, if we keep His commandments. He that says, I know Him, and keeps not his commandments is a liar; and the truth is not in him. But whoso keeps His word, in him verily is the love of GOD perfected; hereby know we that we are in Him. He that says he abides in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked. This write up WHO IS A CHRISTIAN? continues. A Christian does what GOD want only. A Christian is a GOD pleaser and not men pleaser. A Christian loves GOD more and more; because He does what the Father wants. The bible says the sure way to know if truly you are a Christian is living as CHRIST did, loving GOD more and more and doing what CHRIST tells us to do. CHRIST was the propitiation for our sins. GOD his Father is love; His love was manifested towards mankind, because He sent Hi

WHO IS A CHRISTIAN 1?

WHO IS A CHRISTIAN  1? The word Christian is a believer in Christianity. It is defined as an individual who seeks to live his or her life according to the principles of values taught by JESUS CHRIST. A Christian is related to CHRIST. He is a person that is CHRIST-like. CHRIST is perfect, kind, charitable, helpful and morally upright. In Matthew 5 vs. 48: He told us to be perfect even as our Father in heaven is. Be you therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Whatever is not found in CHRIST shouldn’t be found in the life of a Christian. A Christian should always walk toward perfection in all ramifications. John 17 vs. 23: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. CHRIST told a scribe the greatest commandment in law are; Mark 12 vs. 29-31: And JESUS answered him, the first of all the commandments is Hear, o Israel; the LORD our

GOD'S 3 ANSWERS TO REQUEST

GOD’S 3 ANSWERS TO REQUEST Prayer is communicating with GOD. It also mean asking, requesting something from GOD . 2 Thessalonians 5 vs. 17: Pray without ceasing. James 5 vs. 16 b : The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Every request and petitions need answers. Men pray believing GOD on something; to receive or for such thing to be granted. The bible said pray without ceasing; we have to keep hoping in GOD until he answers us. Mind you, GOD is more able to answer any request or petition you put before HIM. He has a lot of promises for us; we are to stand on them. The first answer to request is Yes. 2 Corinthians 1 vs. 20: For all the promises of GOD in Him are Yea and in Him Amen to the glory of GOD by us. CHRIST is the Yea and Amen. His name answers all. The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 66 vs. 18: If I regard iniquity in my heart, the LORD will not hear me. The effectual prayer of a righteous man works wonders. Many pray to GOD with a filthy garment. Many pra

BE STILL

BE STILL! The word still means calmness, quiet or silent. It also means soft and gentle. Many a time in circumstances, many lose their stillness. Many are anxious and get worried. Many become disquieted and restless. Many are impatient when it comes to waiting on GOD. Waiting on GOD requires calmness and stillness. GOD’s way are not ours, His thoughts are not ours. His thoughts and plans toward us are of good and not of evil to give us an expected end. That expected end of yours will be accomplished only if you are still. We humans in this present world lack patience. Many find it difficult to exercise patience. Many find it difficult waiting on GOD. GOD is capable of doing exceeding; abundantly above all we could ever ask or think of. Ephesians 3 vs. 20: Now to HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Believing GOD for something and answers are yet to come doesn’t mean GOD will still not do. You ha

THE SECRET OF VICTORY 2

THE SECRET OF VICTORY 2 I start quoting Romans 8 vs. 28: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love GOD, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Only those who love GOD and fit into his plans will things work well for their good. JESUS said in John 14 vs. 15-16: If you love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another comforter, that He may abide with you. Lovers of GOD will obey and keep his commandments. Lovers of GOD are GOD pleasers and displease men. We all are the called according to His purpose, for He choose us and called us to come to Him. And when we came he declared us “not guilty”, He filled us with CHRIST’s goodness and promised us his glory. Romans 8 vs. 30: Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called; and who He called, them He also justified; and whom He justified, them He also glorified. CHRIST came that we might be more than conqueror in all confrontations, challenge

THE SECRET OF VICTORY 1

THE SECRET OF VICTORY 1 A secret is a knowledge that is hidden. The word victory implies an instance of having won a competition or battle. Every man on earth has a battle to fight. This life is not a bed of roses; challenges will appear, confrontations will rise, difficulties will show up, storms will rage. John 16 vs. 33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In this world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. CHRIST told us He has overcome the world. Battles, challenges, confrontations makes a man weary. It saps a man’s strength. A man’s energy and wisdom will fail him at the battle field of life. A man trusting in chariot and horses will be knocked down in the battle field of life. Pharaoh and his men trusted in their chariots and horses; but they ended up in the Red sea. The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 20 vs. 7: some trust in chariots and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the LORD our GOD

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w
