HERITAGE OF THE LORD

HERITAGE FROM THE LORD
Psalm 127 vs. 3-4: Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD, and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man so are children of one’s youth. Giving birth to a child is a gift from GOD. They are GOD’s reward to men. The bible said be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it. Genesis 1 vs. 28: And GOD blessed them and GOD said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every  living thing that moves upon the earth. Heritage is an inheritance, property that may be inherited. Children are GOD’s property and must be nurtured and trained in the way of the LORD. Proverbs 22 vs. 6: Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Whatever a child is taught when young, he lives with it. When a child is brought up in the way of the LORD, such a child will become the cynosure of all eyes; such child remains in the way of the LORD and will also train generations to come, such child won’t be a son of Belial. The children of Belial serve other gods. The children of Belial know not GOD. The children of Belial’s light do not shine; they are in darkness. Deuteronomy 13 vs. 13: Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, let us go and serve other gods, which ye have not known. 1 Samuel 2 vs. 12: Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD.

Many are disturbed because their children one way or the other misbehaves, mind you when you train and nurture a child while young in the way of the LORD; he cannot depart from that way, he cannot misbehave, he will always bring you joy and peace of mind. Many parents are responsible for a child’s indiscipline; many don’t even have time for their children. Many are work conscious and neglect the welfare of their children. There is a saying, spare the rod and spoil the child. A child should be corrected when he has done something wrong. Many children are spoilt and they lack morals and manners. Parents always see to taking proper care of your child. Eli refused to nurture and train his sons. They became sons of Belial. When you refuse to nurture and train your child in the way of the LORD, they become sons of Belial. Children are sharp arrows in the hand of a mighty man to defend him. Your children will defend you and will always respect you, if you nurture and train them in the way of the LORD. Many give birth to children to prove they are capable of doing so; we should give birth to children so we can raise them to serve GOD together. Joshua said as for me and my household, we shall serve the LORD. That should be our motives. As for those still looking for the fruit of the womb, as GOD visited Sarah and Hannah; he shall visit you in JESUS ‘s name. And as for those set to deliver, as GOD made the Hebrew women deliver with ease in those days, they shall all deliver safely with ease; they will live and their babies will live. To the children, always obey your parents for this is right that you might live long. HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY. It is well with us..

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
