RELATIONSHIP TERMINATION

RELATIONSHIP TERMINATION
A relationship is an association and condition of being related. It is a way in which two or more people behave and are involved with each other. Termination is the process of terminating or the state of being terminated. It is an end in time and also means conclusion. Many a time a relationship termination is needed, so that a life can be restored back to normal. Any friend you are not in the same direction, that relationship must be terminated. Many are associated with you, and their associations with you have brought trouble into your lives. It’s high time you terminate such associations. A man’s association determines his journey. A man’s association determines how far he goes. A man’s association determines his destiny. A man’s association determines what becomes of him. A man’s association determines what comes his way. Proverbs 22 vs. 24-25 (NIV): Do not make friends with hot tempered person; do not associate with one easily angered. Or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared. Not only hot tempered person, we have friends that men have associated with and it has endangered and ensnared their life. Any friendship that doesn’t bring glory to GOD will ensnare a life. The best relationship a man can enter is the association with JESUS. For there is not a friend like Him; His association leads to fruitfulness, peace and gain. Any association that doesn’t glorify GOD must be terminated. Many are in bondage because of wrong association; many are progressing because of the fruitful association they have joined. Proverbs 27 vs. 17: (NIV): As Iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. A man’s association determines what he is sharpened into. When you are associated with the wrong people, they sharpen you to do wrong things; likewise when you are associated with the right set of people, you will be sharpened to always do the right things.

Your association has an influence whether positive or negative. The wrong associations leads to negative influences, such must be terminated. The right association leads to positive influences, such must be kept. Jonah’s association with the people on board the ship leaving for Tarshish brought a terrific wind over the sea, causing a great storm. The passengers, sailors and captain were brought to disarray and confusion. They were fearful and threw their cargo overboard to lighten the ship. Yet the storm didn’t cease, until Jonah’s association with them was terminated, the storm ceased. Jonah 1 vs. 3-5(NIV): But Jonah ran away from the LORD and headed for Tarshish. He went down to Joppa, where he found a ship bound for that port. After paying the fare, he went abroad and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the LORD. Then the LORD sent a great wind on the sea, and such a violent storm arose that the ship threatened to break up. All the sailors were afraid and each cried out to his own god. And they threw the cargo into the sea to lighten the ship. But Jonah had gone below deck, where he lay down and fell into deep sleep. This story painted a picture about association. There are people you associate with and it brings ceaseless storms. There are people you associate with and it brings confusion, there are people you associate with and you lost all your possessions and inheritance; such association and relationship needs to be terminated. Jonah told them to pick him up and throw him into the sea, and immediately they threw him out, the storm ceased. Who are those you have to throw out of your ship? What are the associations and relationship you must terminate? You have to terminate them now! It is well with us..

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

HE THAT COVERS

HE THAT COVERS To cover is to hide and to conceal. A man cannot be wiser than his Maker or Creator. GOD is our Maker; He molded us and formed us into what we are. He is the Potter, we are the clay. Jeremiah 18 vs. 6: O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? Says the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the Potter’s hand, so are you in my hand O house of Israel. GOD sees all and His foolishness is wiser than man’s strength. 1 Corinthians 1 vs. 25: Because the foolishness of GOD is wiser than men, and the weakness of GOD is stronger than men. A man that covers his sins prospers not; but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Proverbs 28 vs. 13: Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Cain was a tiller of the ground; Abel was his brother and was a keeper of sheep. Cain brought fruits of the soil as an offering to GOD, Abel also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat; which the...

Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...
