RETURNING THANKS

RETURNING THANKS Returning thanks is expressing appreciation and gratitude. It is a new month. Many started this year with us, but they are no more, we give glory to GOD because it is by His mercies that we are not consumed. We might have passed through a lot, but GOD’s mercy has kept us thus far. We might have faced a lot of difficulties, confrontations, challenges but GOD’s grace and mercies has sustained us. Let’s give praise to whom praises is due. Let’s show gratitude and appreciation to GOD. When there is life, there is hope. You have hope; I have hope because I am still living and not dead. Only the living can praise GOD, the dead cannot. Lamentations 3 vs. 21-23: This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. GOD is faithful thus far, return thanks for His faithfulness. GOD delights in a thankful heart. Many show ingratitude

LOSING YOUR CLOAK THAN LOSING HIS PRESENCE.

LOSING YOUR CLOAK THAN LOSING HIS PRESENCE I start with 2 Corinthians 3 vs. 17: Now the LORD is that Spirit; and where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is liberty. Psalm 16 vs. 11: Thou will show me the path of life; in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand is pleasure forevermore. GOD’s presence carries His Glory. GOD’s presence carries His Spirit. GOD’s presence carries His power. There is fullness of joy in His presence. At His presence hills melt like wax. Psalm 97 vs. 5: The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the LORD of the whole earth. The Red sea parted into two and the children of Israel were able to go on dry ground through the midst of the sea, because GOD’s presence was with them. David knew the importance of GOD’s presence. He said in Psalm 51 vs. 10-12: Create in me a clean heart, O GOD, and renew a right Spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore unt

BEING FULL OF YOURSELF

BEING FULL OF YOURSELF The flesh will always want to be pleased. The spirit is willing, it quickeneth; but the flesh is weak and profits nothing. Engaging yourself in worldly things draws GOD’s Spirit far from you. If you draw nearer to GOD, He will also draw nearer to you. Many hearts are filled with ungodly thing. A man’s heart should be guarded with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4 vs. 23: Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. A man’s heart must be filled with godly things. The Psalmist said in Psalm 119 vs. 11: Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against you. He knew worldly things might occupy his heart; he hid GOD’s word inside his heart; so he might not sin against GOD. When a man is full of himself, GOD cannot fill him. When a man is full of himself, he walks after the flesh and fulfills the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5 vs. 16- 17: This I say then, walk in the Spirit, and ye

IT SHALL TINGLE.

IT SHALL TINGLE The word tingle means to have a prickling or mildly stinging sensation. It means to cause something to ring and twang. Many a time miracles, signs and wonders happen and this causes ears of anyone that hears to tingle. Only GOD can do a thing and ears tingle. Jeremiah 32 vs. 27: Behold, I am the LORD, the GOD of all flesh; is there anything too hard for me? Jeremiah 32 vs. 17: Ah LORD GOD! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. When He said something He does it, when He does something He has said it. Numbers 23 vs. 19: GOD is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent; hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? This year is almost half gone; before we know it we are in another year. Days passes, weeks passes, month passes.                       Many are still in the state of  waiting for t

HERITAGE OF THE LORD

HERITAGE FROM THE LORD Psalm 127 vs. 3-4: Lo, children are a heritage of the LORD, and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man so are children of one’s youth. Giving birth to a child is a gift from GOD. They are GOD’s reward to men. The bible said be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it. Genesis 1 vs. 28: And GOD blessed them and GOD said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every  living thing that moves upon the earth. Heritage is an inheritance, property that may be inherited. Children are GOD’s property and must be nurtured and trained in the way of the LORD. Proverbs 22 vs. 6: Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Whatever a child is taught when young, he lives with it. When a child is brought up in the way of the LORD, such a child will b

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY 2

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY 2 I King 9 vs. 4-5: And if you will walk before me, as David your father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes and my judgments. Then I will establish the throne of your kingdom upon Israel forever as I promised to David your father, saying: There shall not fall you a man upon the throne of Israel. It pays to walk in integrity. It pays to retain your integrity. King Solomon failed to walk in integrity and in uprightness like David his father did. He married people from nations GOD instructed his people not to marry from. They turned his heart from GOD and turned his heart to their gods . 1 Kings 11 vs. 4: For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods; and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his GOD, as was the heart of David his father. His your heart still perfect with the LORD? Are you still walking in integrity?

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi

IF YOU...THEN,

IF YOU….. THEN, Proverbs 25 vs. 28: He that has no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. Lack of self-control gradually destroys a man’s life. A man without self-control is as defenseless as a city with broken down walls. Sin kills, sin destroys, and sin draws a man far from GOD. The bible said the soul that sins shall die. Also, the bible records the wages of sin is death. John 6 vs. 63 b: It is the spirit that quickneth, the flesh profiteth nothing. Minding the things of the flesh causes lack of self-control; because you will always want to please the flesh. We need to return back to GOD so He can release His Spirit to control us. A man with the Spirit of GOD will be led to mind the things of the spirit. Those led by the Spirit of GOD have self-control and are called sons of GOD. We need to return to GOD so we can exhibit the fruit of the Spirit. Self-control is one of them. Galatians 5 vs. 25-26 (NIV): Since we live by the spirit, l

DWELT LONG ENOUGH

DWELT LONG ENOUGH This write up is titled Dwelt long enough . To dwell is to live and reside. It means to abide and remain in a place. It means to linger which means staying or remaining in a place or situation. Many a time there are situations and circumstances that keep one at a spot. Many have dwelt so long at a spot not because they are willing to remain there, but because burdens are on their shoulders and yokes are tied to their necks. Imagine, when something carries a heavy load and also has its neck tied to a spot. Such a thing won’t progress, such a thing will be so weak; such a thing won’t be able to possess its possessions, such a thing will be stagnated at that point, such a thing will have hope dashed and lost, such a thing dies gradually. Many are like this; they have dwelt long enough because they have burdens on their shoulders and yokes on their necks. Many have been enslaved and are dwelling on a spot. Just like the Israelites were enthralled in Egypt, they cou

THE UNLIMITED GOD 2

THE UNLIMITED GOD 2 I start with Psalm 34 vs.8: O taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man that trusts in Him. Only those who have tasted the Unlimited GOD’s signs and wonder can say. The Israelites saw His mighty works. At a point He rained manna from heaven that they may be fed. He is ALL SUFFICIENT. When you are looking at a way, He has diverse of other ways. His ways are not ours; neither are His thoughts ours. As the heaven is far from the earth, so His ways are. GOD’s power cannot be limited and confined. It is far beyond human comprehension. When He does something, He does to be glorified. The whole world sees and know of a surety this is the hand of GOD. I can’t write all about GOD’s supernaturality. It is beyond extraordinary. It is paranormal. It is preternatural. Ephesians 3 vs. 20: Now to Him that is able to do exceeding, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works is us. GOD by his power work within us and does far mor

THE UNLIMITED GOD

THE UNLIMITED GOD Unlimited means everlasting, infinite, eternal and endless. It also means limitless without bounds and unrestricted. Our GOD is an Unlimited GOD. He is from Everlasting to Everlasting. His supremacy is endless. He is the KING of all kings and LORD of all lords. Moses and the Israelites said in Exodus 15 vs. 11-12: Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? Thou stretch out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them. If you have been on any sea before, you will know GOD is truly Awesome and Powerful. You will wonder how the Red sea parted and the children of Israel were made to walk on dry land. Isaiah 40 vs. 28-29: Hast thou not know? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting GOD, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary?  There is no searching of his understanding. He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might, He increaseth strength.

A PECULIAR TREASURE 2

A PECULIAR TREASURE 2 Proverbs 15 vs. 6: In the house of the righteous is much treasure; but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble. A righteous man is GOD’s peculiar treasure. He is blessed beyond measures. Blessed is he when he goes out and comes in. A peculiar treasure is he who is wise. He follows after righteousness and mercy. He gets life and honor. Proverbs 22 vs. 20-21: There is a treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spends it up. He that follows after righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness and honor. A peculiar treasure lays up for himself treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust does corrupt and where thieves do not breakthrough nor steal. A peculiar treasure set affection on things above and not things of the world. Matthew 6 vs. 19-21: Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust does corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal.  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heave

A PECULIAR TREASURE

A PECULIAR TREASURE When something is peculiar it means it is uncommon, extraordinary, unusual, exceptional and remarkably good.  A treasure is anything greatly valued. It is also a collection of valuable things like jewels and money. A peculiar treasure is one who is unique. One who is exceptionally valued above all things and one who is of great value. 1 Peter 2vs. 9-10 defines a peculiar treasure; but you are a chosen generartion, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of GOD; which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. A peculiar treasure is a chosen generation. He is a royal priesthood. He is a holy nation. He is a peculiar person. He shows forth the praise of the Father GOD. Matthew 5 vs. 16: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your f

OBEYING GOD RATHER THAN MEN.

OBEYING GOD RATHER THAN MEN Acts 5 vs. 29: Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, we ought to obey GOD rather than men. To obey is to do as one is told; it means to be obedient. Obedient is willing to comply with the commands, orders or instructions of those in authority. GOD’s rules and commands should be obeyed by men. Peter and other Apostles told the Sadducees, we ought to obey GOD and not men. Many are obeying men’s rule and command and neglect GOD’s rule. GOD’s rule and command is superior, because He made man. Many fear men than GOD, when you fear GOD; you will have no one else to fear. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. Are you obeying GOD or men’s philosophy? Men’s rule and command at times is against GOD’s rule and command. We are to obey GOD and neglect men’s rule and philosophy. Many have been derailed and punished for disobeying GOD’s voice. Many don’t even recognize GOD’s voice when He speaks. Obeying GOD is expedie

RELATIONSHIP TERMINATION

RELATIONSHIP TERMINATION A relationship is an association and condition of being related. It is a way in which two or more people behave and are involved with each other. Termination is the process of terminating or the state of being terminated. It is an end in time and also means conclusion. Many a time a relationship termination is needed, so that a life can be restored back to normal. Any friend you are not in the same direction, that relationship must be terminated. Many are associated with you, and their associations with you have brought trouble into your lives. It’s high time you terminate such associations. A man’s association determines his journey. A man’s association determines how far he goes. A man’s association determines his destiny. A man’s association determines what becomes of him. A man’s association determines what comes his way. Proverbs 22 vs. 24-25 (NIV): Do not make friends with hot tempered person; do not associate with one easily angered. Or you may lea

THE HEATHEN'S RAGE

THE HEATHEN’S RAGE The heathen here refers to nations and the word rage means violent and uncontrolled anger. The heathen’s rage is a common thing in the world. You see people conspiring against each other; you see people devising means to bring another down, you see men planning harm and evil against men like themselves. You see men not happy with a man’s progress; you see men that thirst for other men’s blood. What a world! You see men not seeing anything good in what you do, despite doing well. You see men ready to frustrate a man’s effort. You see men desperate to make a man worthless and useless. You see men unsatisfied despite satisfying them; you see men imagine vain things against another. Psalm 2 vs. 1-3: Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying: let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. The heathen rag

WHERE ARE YOU LAMED?

WHERE ARE YOU LAMED? This write up is asking readers a question; where are you lame? The word lame means unable to walk properly, because of a problem with one’s feet. It means moving with pains and difficulty. It means inefficient, limping, crippled, weak, irrelevant and pathetic. Many are lamed physically and some are lamed spiritually. When a man is lamed, it doesn’t actually means he can’t walk alone. Many homes are crippled; many homes are in pain and difficulty. Many are inefficient in all they do. Many are limping in their businesses and careers. Many are going from one problem into another. Many are stagnant and not progressing. Many are in a pathetic state. Many are weakened and lack strength. Many are termed irrelevant, because there is no relevance in what they do. They are lamed. Are you lamed? Where exactly are you lamed? However, to those who are lamed in one ramification of their lives there is a solution. Act 3 vs. 2: And a certain man lame

SETTING HIM AT YOUR RIGHT HAND.

SETTING HIM AT YOUR RIGHT HAND Psalm 16 vs. 8: I have set the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. David quoted JESUS saying that. He was referring to the Messiah who will come from his own descendants. He was speaking of JESUS. JESUS CHRIST set his father GOD always before him; this made Him unmovable. This made Him conquer death and hell. This made him overcome tribulations and trials. This made Him rose from the dead; and now He was made to sit on the throne of highest honor in heaven next to GOD. Act 2 vs. 25: For David speaks concerning Him, I foresaw the LORD always before my face, for He is on my right hand, that I should not be moved. Act 2 vs. 32-33: This JESUS has GOD raised up, whereof we all are witness. Therefore, being by the right hand of GOD exalted and having received of the father the promise of the Holy Ghost, He has shed forth this, which you now see and hear. JESUS set GOD his father before Him; this made Him obey His F

REMEMBERING WHAT GOD HAS FORGOTTEN.

REMEMBERING WHAT GOD HAS FORGOTTEN Many a time something keeps reminding us of our past guilt. The devil is the accuser of brethren, he is responsible for this. Revelation 12 vs. 10-11: And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation and strength, and the kingdom of our GOD and the power of His CHRIST; for the accuser of our brethren is cast down which accused them before our GOD day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives to death. The devil is responsible for you remembering what GOD has forgotten. You have to tell the devil you overcome him by the blood of the lamb and by your word of testimony. Micah 7 vs. 8: Rejoice not against me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall arise, when I sit in darkness; the LORD shall be a light unto me. The devil will always want to rejoice against you, he will always want your downfall; he will always want you in darkness and not light. Sin and tra
