I AM GRIEVED

I AM GRIEVED To be grieved means to feel very sad. It means to mourn and to sorrow.   Genesis 6 vs. 5-6: And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that He had made man on the earth and it grieved Him at His heart. The “I AM ”   is GOD. He is the I AM that I AM. He becomes grieved when men fill their hearts with imaginations, thoughts that are evil. He becomes grieved when men do wicked things. The wicked are GOD’s enemy, so He grieves at them. You are part of the wicked if you grief GOD by your work of unrighteousness. All sinners are wicked. Psalm 7 vs. 11: GOD judges the righteous, and GOD is angry with the wicked every day. Psalm 9 vs. 17: The wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forget GOD. Psalm 7 vs. 9:   Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just; for the righteous GOD trieth the hearts

WINNING THROUGH TESTIMONIES

WINNING THROUGH TESTIMONIES 2! An earthly father will be delighted and willing to do more for his son or daughter, when she/he shows gratitude. How will you feel when you give something tangible to a person and he didn’t show gratitude? You will feel unwilling to do more for such person. Our heavenly Father deserves to be shown gratitude for all He has done in our lives. Thank GOD for what He has done in the past, what He is doing presently and what He will do in the future. There is no little testimony; you just have to appreciate GOD for his faithfulness and marvelous deeds. Marvelous deeds like, the gift of life, which is the greatest of all blessings, good health and sound mind, sleeping and waking up. Many slept and never woke up, while many find it difficult to sleep. We have to see reasons to appreciate GOD; doing these will gladden Him to do more for us.              However, problems, trials, challenges might be inevitable; but we can be more than a conqueror by the w

WINNING THROUGH TESTIMONIES

WINNING THROUGH TESTIMONIES Life as we all know is full of challenges, hardship, trials, battles, storms; but they are capable of being defeated through testimonies . Try and get a copy of my e-book “The Anomaly of life, 7 steps to be victorious in life” when it’s out for sale . Testimonies? Are you thinking or asking yourself how can I overcome my challenges through testimonies? Testimony is a witness, evidence and proof of some fact. The act of telling of the good and marvelous things GOD has done is referred to as testimony. Many a time we forget about what GOD has done in the past and that He is still more able and capable of doing more things for us. Have you told people of GOD’s might? Have you sung praises unto Him? Have you thanked Him for the little things you have access to that many don’t? Are you focusing on your problem and nagging instead of thanking Him? The last thing He did for you, do you thanked Him for that which He did? Many are just like the nine lepers out

EKWUEME

EKWUEME! The title of this write-up is from the Ibo tribe in Nigeria. It means “what He says He do”. GOD is a living GOD. There are still some groups of people who still doubt the existence of this GOD. Many still doubt His Supremacy and Potency. Many are still learning and yet to come to the knowledge of the truth that All Power belongs to Him. He is Jehovah Shammah (Jehovah is there). Jehovah means the self-existing Almighty GOD. We are talking about GOD that created the heavens and the earth; we are talking about a GOD that sits in heaven and makes the earth His footstool. This is a GOD that is the Beginning and the Ending. He is the Ancient of Days. This is a GOD that chooses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and GOD that choose the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. This is a GOD that sits upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretch out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads th

ISAIAH 64 VS. 4

ISAIAH 64 VS. 4 The word of the LORD is quick, powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and Intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight; but all things are naked and opened to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. <Hebrews 4 vs. 12-13> The Beginning and the End is unpredictable. His words are quick and powerful, It discerns and pierces. Nothing is hidden from Him. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before his eyes. Isaiah 64 vs. 4: For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by ear, neither has the eye seen, O GOD, beside You, what He has prepared for him that waits for Him. Waiting is the act of staying or remaining in expectation. Waiting is not comfortable many a time. Waiting might tarry. Waiting might lead to frustration. Waiting needs a lot of patience. Waitin

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of men. He knew initia

BEFORE YOUR SAMUEL COMES

BEFORE YOUR SAMUEL COMES Many a time one’s expectation might pend and hold. All may seem not rosy and smooth. People might tend to question your loyalty and faithfulness to serving GOD. People around you might make mockery of you. You might weep silently and be sorrowful within. You might think all hope is lost. You might conclude the end has come. You might lose interest in trusting GOD. You might be a subject of pity and sympathy. All doors might seem shut. All opportunities might seem not forthcoming. All stars and glory might not rise and shine. All efforts might be futile. All ways might seem blocked. All things might seem not working well.                      Hannah faced a lot before her Samuel came forth; she was a subject of mockery. Her rival Peninnah provoked and scorned her just because her Samuel isn’t coming forth. She was down casted, downhearted and her soul was disquieted. She wept a lot and turned weeping into her food to the point of losing appetite, just

THE DUTY OF MAN

THE DUTY OF MAN Duty is that which one is morally obligated to do. A husband in a house is responsible for meeting his family’s needs. That is the duty of a husband. A wife is responsible for taking care of the children and also house chores. That is the duty of a wife. A school teacher’s responsibility is to teach the students. That is the teacher’s duty. A student’s responsibility is to go to school, listen to what the teacher teaches and study them. That is the student’s responsibility. Our Creator GOD created everything for a purpose. Every creation has a duty to carry out. Unfortunately, many creations have failed in their duty. When a man doesn’t carry out his duty he is termed a failure. It causes the Creator GOD nothing to replace men with stones when they fail him. I pray may you not fail GOD!                However, there is time for everything. Don’t get excited and get carried away in this world. Don’t forget your Creator for he has a duty for you. Don’t wait when y

TATTOOED NAMES

TATTOOED NAMES Tattoo is an image made in the skin with ink and a needle. Tattoos are many a time difficult to remove. When someone tattoos a name or an image, it shows he has affection for such thing. Affection is a feeling of love or strong attachment. Many human tattoo names on their skins, yet the name fail them. Many human tattoo images they believe in yet the images fail them. But there is someone who has tattooed our names upon his palm. There is someone who has set our walls continually before him. There is someone who has known us since we have been in our mother’s womb. There is someone who has hidden us in the shadow of his hands. There is someone who has made us a sharp arrow in his quiver. There is someone who never loves us conditionally, but loves us unconditionally. There is someone who has brought us out of darkness into his marvelous light. There is someone who never forgets us and deserts us. There is someone who has chosen us as a generation, made us a royal p

TOLERANCE 2

TOLERANCE 2 Tolerance is the ability to endure pain or hardship. It means endurance. CHRIST exhibited tolerance because he obeyed his Father GOD when sent to the world. GOD’s love toward mankind is unfathomable. He that loves will tolerate, he that doesn’t love will not tolerate. Romans 5 vs. 8: But GOD commendeth his love towards us in that while we were yet sinners, CHRIST died for us. We were tolerated despites our sins and iniquity, CHRIST died for us. We were tolerated despite our sins and iniquity, CHRIST died for us. If CHRIST could tolerate us then we ought to tolerate others. CHRIST endured a lot just for our sake. Isaiah 53 vs. 5-7: But he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray we have turned everyone to his own way and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and he was afflicted yet he opened not h

TOLERANCE

TOLERANCE I start quoting Robert Green Ingersoll “Tolerance is giving every other human being every right that you claim for yourself ”. This is a virtue every man scarcely has nowadays. Men nowadays find it difficult to tolerate each other. In all religions, Christians are to exhibit tolerance the most; because CHRIST stated that it’s the second greatest commandment. Matthew 22 vs.38-39: This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. But the reverse is the case now, most Christians exhibit intolerance. They can’t tolerate their Christian brothers talk less of those outside their religion. This is awful and not so good. Hebrews 13 vs. 1-2: Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unaware. Abraham exhibited tolerance, he suddenly noticed three men coming toward him and ran to meet them and welcomed them. He gave them water to wash their feet’s

DO YOU WANT A LONG, GOOD LIFE 3?

DO YOU WANT A LONG, GOOD LIFE 3? Psalm 34 vs. 14: Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Turning from all known sin is a key to life. The bible refers the soul that sinneth as the wicked. Ezekiel 18 vs. 4 b : the soul that sinneth, it shall die. A soul that keeps sinning cannot live long and have good life. It is better to flee from all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5 vs. 22: Abstain from all appearance of evil and pursue it. This is for one’s benefit and generations to come. There is a saying that the evil that men do live after them. Why not pity your generations yet unborn, hold fast unto what is good, abstain from all sort of evil that might come back to haunt you. Show me a man that abstains from all appearance of evil and I will tell you he will have a long, good life. Show me a man that abstains not from all appearance of evil and I will tell you GOD’s face will be against such and will cut off such from the earth. Psalm

DO YOU WANT A LONG, GOOD LIFE 2?

DO YOU WANT A LONG, GOOD LIFE 2? Psalm 34 vs. 12-13: What man is he that desires life, and loves many days that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking guile. If you want a long, good life keep your lips from lying. A lip that lies is contrary to the things of GOD. A lip that lies is the work of the flesh. A lip that lies is the work of the flesh. A lip that speaks guile is corrupt. Proverbs 12 vs. 22: Lying lips are abomination to the LORD, but they that deal truly are His delight. A lip that speaks guile is deceitful, deceptive, dishonest and fraud. A lip that speaks guile is an unclean lip. A man’s lip can be a snare to his soul. A man’s lips can destroy him. A man need to use his lips wisely. Wisdom is profitable to direct . Proverbs 13 vs. 3: He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life; but he that openeth wide his lips shall be destruction. To have a long, good life you must watch and keep the door of your lips. To h

DO YOU WANT LONG, GOOD LIFE?

DO YOU WANT A LONG, GOOD LIFE? James 1 vs. 17: (NIV): Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly light who does not change like shifting shadow. GOD is the giver of life. He is the Creator and we are his creations. Long life and Good life is a good thing. This is also one of GOD’s promises for our lives. Psalm 91 vs. 16: With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation. Also we have another promise in Isaiah 65 vs. 21-22: And they shall build houses and inhabit them, and they shall plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat; for as the days of a tree are the days of my people and my elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. As children of GOD we are to stand on these promises and many more in the word of GOD. The days of a tree is long and not short. The elect are children of GOD, they build

CHALLENGES FACED BY YOUTH IN THIS 21ST CENTURY

CHALLENGES FACED BY YOUTH IN THIS 21 ST CENTURY Challenges are inevitable. Everyone will surely face it both the youth and the aged. Youths are faced with a lot of challenges these days but true sons and daughters of GOD come forth as Gold no matter what is at stake. Ecclesiastes 12 vs. 1: Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh; when thou say I have no pleasure in them. Many get carried away during their youth and regret afterwards when they are aged. The youthful stage is a stage of excitement; don’t get carried away by the things of the world. It is a stage of discovery; discover your GOD given gifts and talents. It is a stage of choice, make the right choice. All the challenges faced by youth are surmountable. Here are some highlighted challenges faced by youths: ·          Fear ·          Indecision ·          Peer Pressure ·          Lack of Discipline ·          Low Self Esteem ·          Bad Ti
