A PECULIAR TREASURE

A PECULIAR TREASURE
When something is peculiar it means it is uncommon, extraordinary, unusual, exceptional and remarkably good.  A treasure is anything greatly valued. It is also a collection of valuable things like jewels and money. A peculiar treasure is one who is unique. One who is exceptionally valued above all things and one who is of great value. 1 Peter 2vs. 9-10 defines a peculiar treasure; but you are a chosen generartion, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of GOD; which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. A peculiar treasure is a chosen generation. He is a royal priesthood. He is a holy nation. He is a peculiar person. He shows forth the praise of the Father GOD. Matthew 5 vs. 16: Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father which is in heaven. A peculiar treasure shines before men, and they see his good works and glorify GOD in Heaven. A peculiar treasure does good things and they glorify GOD. A peculiar treasure is he who was called out of darkness into GOD’s marvelous light.  A peculiar treasure is he who in the time past was not a child of GOD, but now he is called a child of GOD. A peculiar treasure values GOD more than men. A peculiar treasure is a bonafide child of GOD. A peculiar treasure is GOD’s delight. A peculiar treasure is GOD’s favorite. A peculiar treasure values his salvation than riches and wealth of the world. A peculiar treasure treasures GOD’s will and commands. A peculiar treasure loves GOD and keeps his commandments. John 14 vs. 15: If ye love me, keep my commandments. A peculiar treasure is not left comfortless; he is always comforted.

GOD told Moses to tell the Israelites they shall be a peculiar treasure, if they obey his voice and keep his covenant. Exodus 19 vs. 5: Now, therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people; for all the earth is mine. Vs. 6: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words which thou shall speak until the children of Israel. Only those that please GOD and fear Him are His peculiar treasures. Are you one? It continues tomorrow, kindly share with others. It is well with us….

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...

TOLERANCE

TOLERANCE I start quoting Robert Green Ingersoll “Tolerance is giving every other human being every right that you claim for yourself ”. This is a virtue every man scarcely has nowadays. Men nowadays find it difficult to tolerate each other. In all religions, Christians are to exhibit tolerance the most; because CHRIST stated that it’s the second greatest commandment. Matthew 22 vs.38-39: This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. But the reverse is the case now, most Christians exhibit intolerance. They can’t tolerate their Christian brothers talk less of those outside their religion. This is awful and not so good. Hebrews 13 vs. 1-2: Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unaware. Abraham exhibited tolerance, he suddenly noticed three men coming toward him and ran to meet them and welcomed them. He gave them water to wash their feet’s...

WINNING THROUGH TESTIMONIES

WINNING THROUGH TESTIMONIES 2! An earthly father will be delighted and willing to do more for his son or daughter, when she/he shows gratitude. How will you feel when you give something tangible to a person and he didn’t show gratitude? You will feel unwilling to do more for such person. Our heavenly Father deserves to be shown gratitude for all He has done in our lives. Thank GOD for what He has done in the past, what He is doing presently and what He will do in the future. There is no little testimony; you just have to appreciate GOD for his faithfulness and marvelous deeds. Marvelous deeds like, the gift of life, which is the greatest of all blessings, good health and sound mind, sleeping and waking up. Many slept and never woke up, while many find it difficult to sleep. We have to see reasons to appreciate GOD; doing these will gladden Him to do more for us.              However, problems, trials, challenges might be in...
