DWELT LONG ENOUGH

DWELT LONG ENOUGH
This write up is titled Dwelt long enough. To dwell is to live and reside. It means to abide and remain in a place. It means to linger which means staying or remaining in a place or situation. Many a time there are situations and circumstances that keep one at a spot. Many have dwelt so long at a spot not because they are willing to remain there, but because burdens are on their shoulders and yokes are tied to their necks. Imagine, when something carries a heavy load and also has its neck tied to a spot. Such a thing won’t progress, such a thing will be so weak; such a thing won’t be able to possess its possessions, such a thing will be stagnated at that point, such a thing will have hope dashed and lost, such a thing dies gradually. Many are like this; they have dwelt long enough because they have burdens on their shoulders and yokes on their necks. Many have been enslaved and are dwelling on a spot. Just like the Israelites were enthralled in Egypt, they couldn’t see the promise land GOD promised them until GOD sent Moses to lead them out of Egypt. Also, thus says the LORD in Isaiah 10 vs. 27: And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off your shoulder, and his yoke from off your neck and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

However, the LORD told Moses and the Israelites they have dwelt long enough on Mount Horeb. He told them to advance into countries and declared He has set the land before them for possession. Deuteronomy 1 vs. 6-7: The LORD our GOD spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount. Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates. Vs. 8: Behold, I have set the land before you, go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to give unto them and to their seed after them. Dwelling long at a point, prevent one from seeing inheritances and possessions. It prevents one from getting to the Promised Land. It prevents one from fulfillment of GOD’s plan for the life. There are possessions set before us by our Father GOD, we need to break forth, walk out of that spot, before we can possess them. Many have dwelt long enough on their problems and difficulties; dwelling long enough on a problem won’t solve the problem. Where are you dwelling so long? It’s time to turn to GOD, take your journey and enter into your possessions. David never dwelt so long on his circumstances, though he was distressed and down when Amalekites took all their possessions, rather he enquired from GOD; saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them? And He answered him, Pursue: for thou shall surely overtake them, and without fail recover all. The inheritances are there, the possessions are there you need to be there to possess them. It is well with us…. RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
