A
PECULIAR TREASURE 2
Proverbs
15 vs. 6: In the house of the righteous is much treasure; but in the revenues
of the wicked is trouble. A righteous man is GOD’s peculiar
treasure. He is blessed beyond measures. Blessed is he when he goes out and
comes in. A peculiar treasure is he who is wise. He follows after righteousness
and mercy. He gets life and honor. Proverbs
22 vs. 20-21: There is a treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the
wise; but a foolish man spends it up. He that follows after righteousness and
mercy finds life, righteousness and honor. A peculiar treasure lays up for himself
treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust does corrupt and where thieves
do not breakthrough nor steal. A peculiar treasure set affection on things
above and not things of the world. Matthew
6 vs. 19-21: Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and
rust does corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust does corrupt and where thieves do not break through
nor steal. For where your treasure is there will your heart be also. Where
are you laying your treasures?
