FATHER OF ALL A father is a source. One’s father is one’s beginning and origin. One’s father’s name is a pointer of who the fellow is. One’s father is important. A father is a ruler and controller. TRUSTING CHARIOTS Trusting in chariots is what many do in times of need; forgetting the Name of GOD. Forgetting the Present Help in times of needs; forgetting the ROCK, Fortress, Deliverer, Giver of strength. Forgetting the One that saves with no spear nor sword; forgetting the One that can do all things. Forgetting the One that can never fail, forgetting the One that has never lost any battle and forgetting the Mighty Man in battle. Trusting in chariots is making arm of flesh one’s trust. DEVICES OF THE CRAFTY The crafty is skillful at deceiving others, he is characterized by craft, cunning and wily. The crafty devise means to bring men down. The crafty devise means to kill, steal and destroy men. The crafty tempts, but can be resisted only if we are on GOD’s side and submit ourselves to GOD .  James 4 vs. 7: Submit yourselves therefore to GOD. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Submission to GOD helps GOD disappoint the devices of the crafty. The devil and his agents are the crafty. Total submission to GOD helps us disappoint them. ALWAYS ENQUIRE To enquire is to have a wish or desire to know something. It is to inquire about something. At a point in one’s life, there will always be a time to enquire. Many enquire not from GOD, they get enquiry from other means. It is better and best to enquire from GOD, because GOD never fails. He is not a man that lies or the son of man that repents from what he says. Enquiring from GOD is always perfect and will save us a lot. GOD knows all; He is the Ancient of Days, Omnipotent and no searching of his understanding. The Gibeonites deceived the children of Israel, because they enquired not from GOD . Enquiring from GOD is you telling HIM, you are acknowledging HIM as your GOD and not leaning on your own understanding. NO RULE Proverbs 25 vs. 28: He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. Many a times the spirit is willing not to, but the flesh does. The bible said the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. We must bring the flesh to subjection, so we don’t expose ourselves to the devil and his cohorts and also be a castaway at the end. Having rule over one’s spirit is important. It is self-control! Many find it difficult controlling themselves; self-control mist be applied in all we do. PROFITABLE TO DIRECT 5 Writing on wisdom has made me come to the conclusion it is Universal. GOD is wisdom; wisdom is from GOD. Proverb 21 vs.30: There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD. We as children of GOD should be rest assured, no wisdom, no understanding; no counsel can stand against us; because there is no wisdom nor understanding, nor counsel against the LORD. No wisdom, understanding and counsel can stand against GOD. GOD is wisdom! We are not to be ignorant of the devices of the devil. We are to be rest assured GOD will surely disappoint the devices of the crafty and their hands won’t be able to perform their enterprises. We are to know since GOD is for us; no one can be against us. We are to know evil association against us will surely be broken into pieces. Wisdom is profitable. Wisdom is worth having. Wisdom is paramount. Wisdom is indispensable. Wisdom is requisite. James 1 vs.5: If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of GOD that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. GOD is always ready to give men bountifully supply of wisdom, provided it’s for a good reason; he won’t resent from giving it out.  Some ask GOD for wisdom just to intimidate others. Asking GOD for wisdom must be for a good reason. To have wisdom is to apply knowledge; to obtain knowledge is by studying GOD’s word and wisdom by meditating upon that knowledge. FOR THE EYES The Eyes is an organ through which a being sees. The eye is responsible for sense of sight. GOD created men in his own image, and after his own likeness. GOD himself uses his eyes upon the ways of men. Job 34 vs. 21: For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he sees all his goings. GOD is the Father of all; He is the creator and still monitors his creation. We are GOD’s creation; we should do things that please GOD. GOD sees all, he knows all. Doing the right thing in the sight of GOD is important for all his creation. You might be doing the right things in the sight of men, it will surely please men; but it might be wrong in the sight of GOD. Fearing GOD is essential for all creation. THE CAPTIVITY Many a time people find themselves as captives in the hands of the enemy. A captive is one who has been captured or is otherwise confined. He is held as a prisoner. Captivity is the state of being captive. When a person is held captive, he is grounded. When a person is held captive, he is in great affliction. When a person is held captive, he is a slave. Captivity leads to reproach, frustration, pain, sorrow, unrest and stagnation. It is not a good thing to be in captivity. Captivity leads one away from the promise land. Jeremiah said in Lamentation 1 vs.3: Why is Judah led away, a slave? Because of all the wrong she did to others, making them their slaves. Now she sits in exile far away. There is no rest, for those she persecuted have turned and conquered her. Many a time people enter into captivity because of their wrong deeds; many a time people enter into captivity because of theirs parents or family’s past wrong deeds. THE MANIFESTATION Welcome to another breaking of the day. It is a bright and beautiful day; this is the LORD’s doing it is marvelous in our sight.
