RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. EXISTENCE AND RELEVANCE Existence is the state of being existing or occurring. To exist is a privilege because many wished they were alive, but they are not. People in the graveyard are non-existing. They lack significance. Nobody reckons with them again. I exist, you exist glory be to GOD for this. If you are reading these write up, it shows you are existing. The dead cannot read. All living being on earth exists. The greatest of all blessings on earth is the gift of life. We are to acknowledge our Creator and Maker; for this. He is the reason for our existence. He made you for a purpose. That is where Relevance comes in. Relevance is the property or state of being relevant or pertinent. We all exist for relevance. We are created by GOD to be Relevant. Relevance is making impact. Relevance is putting round peg in round hole. Relevance is having a positive noticeable or major effect. Relevance is fulfilling your destiny and purpose.
