IF YOU….. THEN,
Proverbs 25 vs. 28: He that has no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. Lack of self-control gradually destroys a man’s life. A man without self-control is as defenseless as a city with broken down walls. Sin kills, sin destroys, and sin draws a man far from GOD. The bible said the soul that sins shall die. Also, the bible records the wages of sin is death. John 6 vs. 63b: It is the spirit that quickneth, the flesh profiteth nothing. Minding the things of the flesh causes lack of self-control; because you will always want to please the flesh. We need to return back to GOD so He can release His Spirit to control us. A man with the Spirit of GOD will be led to mind the things of the spirit. Those led by the Spirit of GOD have self-control and are called sons of GOD. We need to return to GOD so we can exhibit the fruit of the Spirit. Self-control is one of them. Galatians 5 vs. 25-26 (NIV): Since we live by the spirit, let us keep in step with the spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other. Many look for vain glory, honors and popularity losing their self-control. Many envy others and lose their self-control. Proverbs 22 vs. 23: If you return to the Almighty, you shall be built up; you shall put away iniquity far from your tabernacles. We need to return to the Almighty so He can build us back. Many are like a city that is broken down and without walls. He is the Potter we are clay in his hands. Only GOD can rebuild us, remold us and restore us. We need to put away iniquities, for GOD cannot behold them. Proverbs 22 vs. 24: Then shall thou lay-up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks. We need to let go of the desires of the world. We need to let go of the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life; for they are of the world and causes lack of self-control. 1 John 2 vs. 16: For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
                

Furthermore, after doing all these highlighted above; then the Almighty shall be our defense, and we shall be blessed with precious silver treasure. Then, we shall delight in the Almighty and lift our face to GOD and He will hear us. Then, we shall decree a thing and it shall be established and GOD’s light shall shine upon our ways. Then, when men are casted down, then we shall say, there is a lifting up. Job 22 vs. 25-29: Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defense, and thou shall have plenty of silver. For then shall thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shall lift up thy face unto GOD. Thou shall make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shall pay thy vows. Thou shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee; and the light shall shine upon thy ways. When men are cast down, then thou shall say, there is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person. If you can only return to GOD, then all these promises will be yours… Return back to GOD today, He awaits your return back to HIM. Share with others. It is well with us…

OUR DAYS Greetings to all reading on this platform worldwide. I write on this topic OUR DAYS even as   my twin sister and I are a year older today. Glory be to GOD for a new year and a new day. A song says great is thy faithfulness, Oh LORD my father, morning by morning new mercies we see, all we have needed his hands have provided, Great is thy faithfulness. Truly great is his faithfulness toward all men. Many are not convinced of these, many don’t see something special in GOD’s faithfulness towards them. David said “Then I lay down and slept in peace and woke up safely, for the LORD was watching over me. He GOD never sleeps nor slumber over us, we just find out we sleep and before you know it, you open your eye to a new day. This is the LORD’s doing and it should be marvelous in our sights. TRAPPED BY YOUR OWN DESIRES 1 Everybody has a desire and some desires glorify GOD, while some do not. Desire is a strong feeling of wanting something. Many get trapped by their desires. The LORD our GOD knows our needs, desires and expectations; we are to delight ourselves in the LORD, commit our ways unto the LORD so he can give us our desires. Psalm 37 vs. 4-5: Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Many have desires that are against GOD’s will. Many have desires that will take the place of GOD. Many have desires that will lead to disobedience to GOD’s will. Paul said in 2 Corinthians 10 vs. 5: Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalt itself against the knowledge of GOD, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of CHRIST.
