TAKING RESPONSIBILITY

TAKING RESPONSIBILITY
Responsibility is a trait for all leaders. We are all leaders, whether we rule over a nation or not. Our GOD himself is a responsible GOD, and expects his children to also be responsible. GOD develops interest in responsible people; because he is responsible. Responsibility is the state of being responsible and accountable. It is a duty, obligation or liability for which someone is held accountable. Every one created by GOD has purpose and reason for creation. We shall give account to GOD, based on our purpose. That is where responsibility comes in; he GOD has assigned a task and obligation into our hands that we must ensure we succeed doing it. Many are not showing responsibility toward this task. GOD delights in a responsible man, Joseph was a responsible man; no wonder GOD’s presence never left him. Responsible men take responsibility. Responsible men are always filled with GOD’s presence. Responsible men are men of authority. Responsible men rise up to the challenges ahead of them. Responsible men are solution to the world and generations unborn. Responsible men fears GOD. The bible says, Potiphar gave Joseph the complete administrative responsibility over everything he owned; because he noticed he was a responsible man. An irresponsible man would have slept with Potiphar’s wife. Joseph took responsibility for theses and ended up in the prison. Responsibility distinguishes a man, anywhere and anytime. The bible says in fact, the jailer soon handed over the entire prison administration to Joseph, so that all other prisoners were responsible to him. Taking responsibility! Are you responsible?

The bible says in 1Peter 2 vs. 9: But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. These are the promises of GOD for a responsible man. We have to take responsibility over our family. Not all husbands are responsible and not all wives are. Husbands be responsible and wives be responsible. Taking responsibilities over your family implies you and your household will always serve GOD. We need to take responsibility over our nation and nations of the world. The Psalmist says pray for the peace of Jerusalem, they shall prosper that love you. Our Jerusalem is our country. We need to stand for our country in prayers. You need to pray for your leaders, whether they are governing well or not. You need to take responsibility by praying for them, rather than complain. Many do blame leaders in their country, it won’t solve the problems; rather take responsibility by praying. We need to pray for other nations too; not until you are in such nation. Pray for all nations, taking responsibility. If we begin to take responsibility over our families and nations in prayer and intercession, we will begin to see changes. Also we need to take responsibility on our dreams and aspirations. You can’t just relax and think your dreams will come to pass like that. Take responsibility by doing the right things to achieve them. It is well with us….

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
