GOD'S ZEAL

GOD’S ZEAL
Zeal is the tireless devotion for a person, cause or ideal and determination in its furtherance. It means diligent, enthusiasm, powerful interest. GOD’s powerful interest to his creation is that they don’t perish. We men are creation of GOD. GOD has a powerful interest in men; but most men don’t. Despite the wickedness of men, despite men’s deceitful and desperate heart, GOD still has a powerful interest in him. Psalm 8 vs. 4: What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him? David said when I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; what is man, that thou art mindful of him? Jeremiah 17 vs. 9: The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? GOD made man have dominion over the works of His hand, and put all things under man’s feet, because he has a powerful interest in men. GOD’s powerful interest made him send us his only begotten son JESUS, to die for the sins and debt of men. John 3 vs. 16: For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. GOD sent his Son that through JESUS, men might have life again. Through Him, He showed men GOD’s plan of salvation. He made men acceptable to GOD, he made men pure and holy and He gave himself to purchase our salvation. This is only what a powerful interest can do. The bible said if anyone is going to boast, let him boast only of what the Lord has done. GOD did this, because of His powerful interest in men.

Isaiah 9 vs. 6-7: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty GOD, The Everlasting Father, and The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom to order it; and to establish it with judgment and with justice from hereafter even forever. The zeal of the Lord of Host will perform this. The zeal of the Lord of Host brought forth his son JESUS. It will be good if we men also have such powerful interest in our Maker. It will be good we come back to GOD, having powerful interest in Him again. GOD’s love to men is immeasurable. It will be good men love him likewise. He said, if you love me, keep my commandments. Men let the enthusiasm about GOD return again, let the zeal to obey his will and commandment return again. Let the hunger and thirst for righteousness return again. Let the zeal to serve him in spirit and truth return again. We can’t have two masters. We can’t serve GOD and also serve mammon; I beseech you, serve GOD. It is well with us….

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
