EVERY PROMISE

EVERY PROMISE
A promise is an oath, vow or affirmation. When a man promises you something, there is probability he will give you the thing and might not. Men fail in their promises, but GOD doesn’t. The bible quipped He is not a man that should lie, neither the son of man that repent of what he says, has he said it will he not do it, has he spoken will he not bring it to pass. GOD never fails his promises. The promises of GOD are new every day, the flower fades away and the grasses wither; but GOD’s promise stands forever. GOD’s words are his promises. There are many promises of his in the bible. Every promise from GOD surely comes true. GOD honors his words more than his name. Our GOD is able to do exceedingly; abundantly above all we could ever ask or think. Our GOD is sovereign. GOD does the impossible. For with man it is impossible, but with GOD all things are possible. Elizabeth, the barren one became pregnant in her old age, because GOD is a miracle worker. He does the impossible. Zacharias said to the angel, this is impossible! I am an old man now and my wife is also well along in years. GOD promise for us is not barrenness, his promise for us is to be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth. The bible says how his mighty arm is! How he scatters the proud and haughty ones! He has torn princes from their thrones and exalted the lowly. He satisfied the hungry hearts and sends the rich away with empty hands. And how he has helped his servant Israel! He has not forgotten his promise to be merciful. For he promised our fathers, Abraham and his children to be merciful to them forever. GOD’s promise for us is that we shall build houses and inhabit, plant and eat; not build for another to inhabit and not plant for another to eat. That as long as the days of the trees so shall our days be, then will eat the fruit of our labor. We have to key into various promises GOD promised us in his word. To get these promises, you have to believe study, meditate and confess them daily. GOD’s promises is that we shall not lack, the bible says GOD shall supply all our needs according to his riches in glory by CHRIST JESUS. There are several other promises, get them in his word. It is well with us…

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...
