GETTING PEACE

GETTING PEACE
Everyone likes a peaceful state of mind. A peaceful mind is a settled mind. When there is no peace of mind, a life is disturbed, unpleasant, oppressed and full of anxiety. A peaceful mind is quite, free of oppressions and unpleasant thoughts and emotions. We humans are disturbed, when there is no peace of mind. Peace and rest of mind is important in the life of a person. When you have peace and rest of mind, your burdens are lifted. When you have peace and rest of mind, your fears are gone. When you have peace and rest of mind, you can face tomorrow. As this year ends and as a New Year starts, many are disturbed about how the New Year will be. Many have no peace of mind again, about how things will be in the New Year. Many are thoughtful and emotional about the New Year. Many expectations have been cut off already this year, and they are disturbed, worried about the New Year. The bible said for surely there is an end, and thine expectations shall not be cut off. Obviously, when a man’s expectation have been cut off, he will be disturbed, worried and there will be no peace. But the bible said, there is an end to it. There is an end to your worry, anxiety, oppression, sickness, battles, fears, emotional instability, sorrow, crying, storms; and your expectations will never again be cut off. This can happen only, if you get a peace that surpasses all understanding. That peace brings an end to your worry, anxiety, crying, storms, challenges, tribulations, sickness, fears and whatsoever that is disturbing your life. The peace comes from the Prince of Peace. Philippians 4 vs. 6-7: Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your request be made know to GOD. And the peace of GOD, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and mind through CHRIST JESUS. Only the peace from GOD, can give us a lasting peace. Only the peace from GOD passes all understanding. We need to get that peace from GOD, to overcome all in the New Year.

We need to get that peace from GOD, so we can always see GOD in our situations. Hebrew 12 vs. 14: follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the LORD. Proverbs 16 vs. 7: When a man’s way please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. To get peace from the Prince of Peace, our ways must please Him. We must always do his will. Many are men pleaser and not GOD pleaser. It is better to please GOD than men. Pleasing GOD guarantees everlasting peace, pleasing men brings limited peace. Holiness is paramount in pleasing GOD. Many want peace, but are not peacemakers. No man can see GOD, without following peace with all men and holiness. Matthew 5 vs. 9: Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of GOD. Getting the everlasting peace is important for all men, as the New Year unfolds. The Psalmist says thou prepared a table before me in the presence of my enemies; that can only happen to people that please GOD. On a final note, Matthew 6 vs. 33-34: But seek ye first the kingdom of GOD, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow; for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the days is evil thereof. Get peace from the Prince of Peace today, and live with peace forever. It is well with us…..

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
