SO FAR, SO GOOD!

SO FAR, SO GOOD!
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. We as sojourners on earth started our journey on earth with a step and till date, our GOD has been faithful. Years after years, days after days, and weeks after weeks GOD has proved his faithfulness in our lives, despite our unfaithfulness. We bless GOD for the gift of life which is the greatest of all blessings. It is a privilege to be alive, only the living can appreciate GOD. It is good we show gratitude to our Maker and Creator for thus far he has helped us. The Psalmist said I will bless the Lord at all times; his praises shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear thereof and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened; and their faces were not ashamed. The poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. O taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man that trusteth in him. This GOD is Good! This GOD is Kind! This GOD is Wonderful! This GOD is Excellent! This GOD is Awesome! This GOD is great! Let us appreciate him, let us show gratitude to Him. He deserves to be praised. Let us Magnify him, for what he has done, what he will do and what he will keep doing. An hymn says O worship the King, all glorious above, O gratefully sing His power and His love, Our shield and defender, the Ancient of Days, pavilioned in splendor, and girded with praise. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord. Let’s sing a new song to the Lord. All nations, continents and creation let’s give glory to whom glory is due to.  No man on earth should give glory to himself, for all glory must be to GOD.
So far, so good GOD has been GOD. Let’s thank him for the last day of this year, let’s thank him for the New Year. Let’s thank GOD for his passion and hunger for HIM shall increase in our lives.  Let’s thank him for our heart desires he has not granted, heart desires he has granted and heart desires he will still grant. Let’s thank GOD for we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that we would shew forth the praises of Him who hath called us out of darkness into his marvelous light. Let’s thank him for crowning us with His glory and welcoming us to the New Year with success and prosperity. Let’s thank him for setting a royal crown of solid gold upon our head. Let’s thank him for a long, good life he has granted us and stretching the days of our lives. Let’s thank him for given us fame, honor and clothing us with splendor and Majesty. Let’s thank him for endowing us with eternal happiness and giving us Joy unspeakable and unquenchable. Let’s thank him for his right hand does valiantly and shall work wonders in our lives. Let’s thank GOD for we have set HIM by our side and we shall not be moved. Let’s thank GOD for disappointing the handiwork of the crafty and not allowing theirs hands perform their enterprise over our lives. Let’s thank GOD for fruitfulness, breakthrough, testimonies, victory and good things he has prepared ahead for us. If we could have a thousand tongues, it’s not enough to sing and thank GOD.

Finally, I appreciate readers in all continents of the world reading on this platform. I appreciate your contributions and quota. I pray we shall all live to see the end of 2017 and more years to come, if CHRIST tarries in His coming in JESUS name. I love you, but CHRIST loves you better. HAPPY NEW YEAR IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
