SETTING PRIORITIES.

SETTING PRIORITIES

Priorities ate status established in order of importance or urgency. Everyone has one priority or the other, many a time we find ourselves in conflicting priorities and will have to choose which is important to us. It is good to set priorities, but it is better when GOD is your priority. Many a time we choose other things and leave GOD behind, it is totally wrong. For instance, waking up so early in the morning going to work, you set to do list for the day before going out. Many don’t start their day with GOD; which shows he is not your priority. The Psalmist says early will I seek you LORD; that should be our watch word. Many don’t start their day with GOD, and just go out coming back home before remembering him. Get started with GOD early and He will direct you. The bible said redeeming the time, for all days are evil. It is essential to redeem the day with the blood of JESUS before going into it. GOD is Omnipotent and Omnipresence, He knows all; He is the same yesterday, today and forever. His ways are not ours neither are his thoughts ours. GOD should be our priority, when GOD becomes your pursuit, everything GOD has at his disposal become yours. The greatest contention among us humans is battle against ourselves. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. The flesh would prefer things of the world as a priority than GOD. That is why the bible says walk in the spirit, so you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh. We must kill the flesh, to set GOD as a priority. When GOD is your priority, all things work together for your good. The bible says we know all things work together for good, to them that love GOD, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Roman vs 28). Only those that truly love GOD will set him as their priority. When you set GOD as your priority, you do things of the spirit. The bible says “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the spirit, the things of the spirit”. GOD himself is a spirit and must be worshipped in spirit and truth. My point in this write up is making GOD as your priority. Many have missed this fact and some are ignorant. Many only read the bible while in church, which shouldn’t be. Commitment to the word of GOD determines how far you know GOD. It is well with us……….

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
