THE GOOD SHEPERD AND HIS SHEEPS

THE GOOD SHEPERD AND HIS SHEEPS A shepherd is a person whose job is to take care of sheep’s. He monitors and cater for the sheep’s; he ensures they are fed and drinks. There is a difference between a shepherd and a Good shepherd. A Good shepherd lays down his life for his sheep, an ordinary shepherd wouldn’t have done that. A Good shepherd is the gate for his sheep; those who comes in by way of the gate will be saved and will go out and find green pastures. An ordinary shepherd has no real concern about his sheep, but the Good shepherd does. A Good shepherd brings all his sheep’s in one fold; he loves his sheep’s truly. His sheep’s recognizes him; that Good shepherd is JESUS. He said I know my sheep and my sheep knows me. John 10 vs 2-3: The shepherd comes through the gate; the gate keeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep hear his voice and come to him, he calls his own sheep’s by name and leads them out. That is the relationship between the Good shepherd and his sheep; and the relationship is purity. If you want to become his sheep you must be pure, because the good shepherd is pure and holy. You must live a holy life, so as a sheep you will walk through the gate into the shepherd’s fold. A goat will not walk through the gate, he will sneak over the wall. Which are you a goat or a sheep? The Psalmist knew what the Good shepherd does, that is why he said in psalm 23: The lord is my shepherd, I shall not want; when you are a sheep of the Good shepherd you cannot want anything. He maketh me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside the still water and restoreth my soul. When you are a sheep of the Good shepherd you will always be refreshed and renewed, because he will always lie down in a green pasture and beside a still water. Finally, it said ye though I walk in the valley of shadow of death I will fear no evil, for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. When you are a sheep of the Good shepherd, even though you walk with death you don’t need to be afraid, because he his beside you, no evil can befall you. He will surely comfort you with his rod and staff, what this implies is that no matter how hard your circumstances or adversity; when you are a sheep of the Good shepherd, you will surely be comforted by his rod and staff. Even if you are on the wrong path, he will direct you back to the right part. He won’t let you to be ashamed. It pays to be a sheep of the Good shepherd. Share with others…………

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...
