IS THE WORLD SPEAKING EVIL OF GOD, BECAUSE OF YOU?
Ye are light of the world, let your light so shine before men, that they may see you good works and glorify your father which is in heaven. Quoting from the scriptures, in the world at large we the children of GOD are the light of the world. We must let our light so shine before them, our role model the light {JESUS} came to this world and lightened every man in the world; in him was life, and the life was the light of men; people saw the light and came to GOD to glorify him; likewise now people should see light in us and glorify the father in Heaven. I want to ask the following questions:
Are you sure of the way to GOD?
Can you point it out to even a blind man?
Are you a light to the world?
Do you truly know his laws?
Can you teach others about GOD?
If yes, then why don’t you teach yourself? Why do you indulge in things you tell others is against GOD’s will? Why do you still find comfort doing things that annoys GOD; hmmmmm, this is a common thing among teachers and those who think they are still standing. Why don’t you obey all these first, before telling others to obey? Why not remove the beam in your eye, before removing that of others. We need to check ourselves.
However, if you don’t know the world looks and monitor us a lot; especially we children of GOD, we shouldn’t do things that will make the world speak evil about our GOD. Our GOD is a just GOD, cannot be found doing evil; he cannot behold it. We should do his will. Precepts upon precepts; lines upon lines. We can, don’t say we can’t; if JESUS could come in man’s form in flesh and does that, we have no excuse. Let us encourage ourselves, not to indulge in things the world sees and speak evil about our GOD. We are the light of the world, and so should always shine forth our lights in every darkness of the world, then our father will be glorified through us. GOD should be glorified through us and not grudged. I pray, the grace to do his will shall rest on us all in JESUS name.
WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye. Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24: But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...
