ACKNOWLEDGE GOD
Why do we have to acknowledge GOD again? That is a question, that come most people’s way. GOD worth being acknowledged, because he is a sovereign GOD; he fainted not, neither is he weary, there is no searching of his understanding. The foolish plan of GOD is far wiser than the wisest plan of the wisest man, and GOD’s weakness which is Christ dying on the cross is far stronger than any man. To acknowledge is to admit and accept that something or somebody has a particular authority. It is also to express thanks for help you are being given. Most do not accept and admit that GOD sent his only begotten son JESUS, to die for our sins; for GOD so loved the world, that he sent his only begotten son [JESUS] that whosoever believes in him, will not perish; but have everlasting life. It is from GOD alone that you have your life, through Christ JESUS. If you don’t know, it mean you are not acknowledging GOD, which shouldn’t be. Also, to acknowledge is accepting that something or somebody has a particular authority; GOD is a sovereign GOD, all powers belong to him; many don’t know he is the king of kings, and the lord of lords. JESUS was highly exalted, and given a name which is above every other name, by his father GOD; that at the mention of the name of JESUS, every knee should bow of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. We must accept that he GOD has dominion, power and authority over all the world.
Finally, to acknowledge is to express thanks for help you are being given. Most of us don’t express thanks unto GOD for thus far he has helped us in all areas of our life; a grateful heart, is a thankful heart. We should thank him for sending JESUS to the world for our sake, he was the one who made us acceptable to GOD; he made us pure and holy and gave himself to purchase our salvation. Hmmmmm! Shouldn’t we express thanks to such a father? Yes we should. Endeavour to thank GOD for what he has done, what he hasn’t done, and what he will do. GOD appreciates a thankful and grateful heart; that is why we must acknowledge him always. Henceforth, start the day by acknowledging GOD.
WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her. 1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD. What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...
