HOPING WHEN THERE IS NO HOPE

HOPING WHEN THERE IS NO HOPE Hoping is an act of expressing the feeling or wish that something desired will happen. Hope is the feeling that something desired can be had or will happen. Faith is involved in hope, hope is involved in faith; faith is the substance of things hoped for, the two goes together. When you hope, when all hope is lost people see you as someone who doesn’t know what he doing .You’re seen as a foolish being; that foolishness in the sight of people is faith in the sight of God. Without faith you can’t please God; to hope you have to stand on a faith. However, Abraham the father of faith and hope believed and hoped even when there was no reason for hooping and he became the father of many nations. Despite his old age his faith wasn’t old and shaken; he stood firm on his faith in God and he had a son at old age, and he became the father of many nations .His faith and hope in God did not leave him, he never doubted God even while Sarah did at first; his hope and faith filled him with power despite his weak body and he had testimony at the end Furthermore, hope in God is never ashamed; just as Abraham was not ashamed even at old age, most people doubt God some don’t even believe in hoping in God. Delay is not denial if it was, Abraham could have being denied his testimony but his hope when there was no hope helped him and saw him through. When you hope in God despite no hope you will not be let down he will surely do for you, that which you desire. He his able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above what we asked or think of according to the power that worketh in us. That power in us is our faith and hope; if you hope for big things you’ll surely receive big things, when you hope for small things you’ll receive small things. Hope when all hope is lost…….

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
