ENCOURAGE OTHERS
TO encourage is to help someone to feel confident and be able to do something. It is also to advice someone to do something positive. It can also be likened to supporting someone on an activity. Discouragement is the opposite of encouragement, when one is discouraged he loses confident. David encouraged himself first in the lord, before encouraging his men; he instilled confidence into them and he and his men pursed, overtook, and recovered back all the Amalekites had stolen. When you encourage others, you help them regain their momentum and strength.
However, Joshua in Deuteronomy 3 vs 28 was encouraged by Moses, GOD told Moses to encourage him and he was able to lead the Israelites to the promise land, encouraging others makes them do what they believe they can’t do. Joshua at first will be discouraged, imagining himself stepping into Moses’s shoe; but he was encouraged by Moses and did what was required of him to do. Many are waiting to be encouraged, so they can find their feet back; but when there is no one to encourage them, they remain discouraged.
Furthermore, as children of GOD we are to encourage the unsaved and those who have missed the way of salvation, to come back to the way. You can support them in prayers during your devotion or talking one on one with them; and you can also encourage the less- privileged by giving to them. A lot of Christians are out of the way, they need to be encouraged so they can come back to the light of salvation. Apostle Paul told the people of Rome he needed their help, for not only to share his faith with them; but to be encouraged by their faith too. When you encourage others you serve as a source of blessing to them. It is like you are blessing them; and GOD will surely reward you too. ENCOURAGE SOMEONE TODAY, TO FIND HIS FEET BACK AND BE CONFIDENT……
AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
