ARE YOU RUNNING YOUR RACE TO WIN?

ARE YOU RUNNING YOUR RACE TO WIN? Greetings to us in the name of our mighty GOD. A race is a contest and competition between people, vehicles to see which runs faster. Every race has athletes competing and contesting, and in every race everyone involved runs; but only one person gets the prize. Just as many have watched the Olympics and other competitions involving race, only the first and fastest athlete to cross the finishing line wins, and is rewarded with a prize. However, that is the physical race; the race here is the heavenly race, Apostle Paul said in 1 Corithians 9 vs 24: In a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the first prize, so run your race to win. Yes he enjoined us to run our race and win, he himself had his race to run; likewise every one of us has this heavenly race to run. The heavenly race is not for people of the world, it is for those that hunger and taste for righteousness. To win the heavenly race, you must see things in the spirit, you must must be led by the Spirit of GOD, you must deny yourselves many things that would keep you from doing your best. The earthly race is physical, but the heavenly race is spiritual. The bible said the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. The spirit within us will always strive and be willing to win this heavenly race, and it’s denies us many things, that is things of the world that distracts; but the flesh is weak, it want those thins of the world, earthly things that would deny us from winning this heavenly race. We must be very careful, we must do the things of the spirit and not of the flesh. Furthermore, the bible said walk in the spirit, so you won’t fufill the lust of the flesh. To win this heavenly race you must walk in the spirit and not flesh. As many that are led by the spirit, they are the sons of GOD. To the earthly race, the winner is rewarded with a blue ribbon or a silver cup; and it vanishes away at the end; but the reward for the heavenly race is not a silver cup nor a ribbon, but eternal life, peace, joy. It pays to win the heavenly race; because your reward never vanishes, it is from everlasting to everlasting. We must be focused and run straight to the goal with purpose in every steps. We must punish the flesh, by doing what the spirit wants and not it wants; otherwise we might be declared unfit to run this race and ordered to step aside. I pray that shall not be our portion in JESUS name Amen! Share with others……..

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
