IS YOUR BODY GLORIFYING HIM?

IS YOUR BODY GLORIFYING HIM? What a question is your body glorifying him? The him here is GOD and not man. Most people use their body to glorify man, which shouldn’t be; it should glorify GOD. 1 Corithians 6 vs 15 says Don’t you realize that your bodies are actually parts and members of Christ? Some do not know their body is the temple of GOD, and so it should glorify GOD and be pure. Many youth flirts about in sexual sins, what they shouldn’t involve themselves in. The bible said sexual sin is never right, our bodies were not made for that but for the lord; and the lord want to fill our bodies with himself. As a youth or the unmarried you are not involve in sexual sins; your body should be given to GOD, he made the body; so why not use it well and use it to glorify him {GOD}. Moreover, we ought to give our body to GOD; so we could be joined together with him and not give it to sins, because when you use your body for sins, it becomes joined and one to sin. The bible said haven’t you yet learned that your body is the home of the Holy spirit GOD gave you, and that he lives within you. As a child of GOD, you are to have a space for the holy spirit; because it helps you not to use your body for sins. Your own body does not belong to you, I wonder many a times when most girls and ladies claim it’s their body and so they can do what they like with it. It doesn’t belong to you, it is god’s and should glorify GOD. The psalmist said ye are gods, and all of you are children of the most High. We are all children of the most high, our body must glorify him; it shouldn’t glorify man nor flesh. It shouldn’t please men nor flesh; it should please GOD. Finally, GOD has bought us with a great price by molding and creating us, so we must use every part of our body to give glory back to him, because he owns it. Stay blessed and share with others….

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
