DON'T GIVE UP ON GOD

DON'T GIVE UP ON GOD “Weeping may last by night, but joy cometh in the morning” quoting from the psalmist. The psalmist {David} passed and faced a lot , he knew weeping may endure by night, but he was sure he had and served a GOD he could never give up on; and it paid off positively for him. GOD is able to do exceedingly abundantly, above all we could ever ask or think of, giving up on GOD is a disaster. If you don’t know, Paul was telling the people of Rome not to give up on GOD; when you give up on GOD, GOD will give you up to doing everything your mind could think of. Furthermore, when in any circumstances, adversity, challenges, your heart will be filled with a lot of thoughts especially, both evil and good. It depends on your faith to choose which to follow. The bible said “ hope in GOD is not ashamed ”, when you hope in GOD and never give up on him , you will not be ashamed; but when you don’t hope in GOD and give up on him you follow the evil thoughts , it is a disaster and such a fellow will surely be ashamed. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of GOD; you have to be encouraged and hope in GOD no matter what you are facing. Moreover, when Job was faced by its adversity, sorrow, challenges, he hoped and encouraged himself in the lord; he never gave up on GOD , despite evil thoughts and advises; his wife encouraged him to curse GOD and die, but Job instead encouraged himself in the lord and GOD restored all he has lost in many folds. There is a great result when you never give up on GOD, but as a result of giving up on GOD, a person will be got paid within his/her own soul with the penalty he/she so richly deserves. BE ENCOURAGED, NEVER TO GIVE UP ON GOD……….

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...
