TRUSTING CHARIOTS

TRUSTING CHARIOTS
Trusting in chariots is what many do in times of need; forgetting the Name of GOD. Forgetting the Present Help in times of needs; forgetting the ROCK, Fortress, Deliverer, Giver of strength. Forgetting the One that saves with no spear nor sword; forgetting the One that can do all things. Forgetting the One that can never fail, forgetting the One that has never lost any battle and forgetting the Mighty Man in battle. Trusting in chariots is making arm of flesh one’s trust. Trusting in chariots is one whose heart departs from the LORD. Trusting in chariots is one who forgets GOD. Trusting in chariots is not trusting in LORD. Isaiah 26 vs. 4: Trust ye in the LORD forever; for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength. It is better to trust in GOD than chariots; chariots fails, GOD does not. Jeremiah 17 vs. 5: Thus saith the LORD, cursed be the man that trust in man, and make flesh his arm and whose heart departs from the LORD. Vs. 7: Blessed is the man that trust in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. Vs. 8 says: For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreads out her roots by the river, and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Asa depended on the king of Syria to help, instead of depending on GOD. The Israelites and Moses depended on the Name of the GOD, but pharaoh and his chosen captains depended on their chariots. The Israelites walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. Pharaoh and his chosen captains drown into the red sea. GOD proofed himself as the man of war. The bible said in Exodus 15 vs. 3: The LORD is a man of war; the LORD is his name. Psalm 20 vs. 7: Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we will remember of the LORD our GOD. The bible said: The name of the LORD is a strong tower, the righteous runs into it and they are saved. Only the righteous can run into his Name. It is better to trust in GOD, it is better to trust in his Name. The Psalmist said in Psalm 18 vs. 2: The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my GOD, my strength in whom I will trust; my buckler; and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Trust in the LORD and his Name, don’t trust in chariots. It is well with us….

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...
