ALWAYS ENQUIRE

ALWAYS ENQUIRE
To enquire is to have a wish or desire to know something. It is to inquire about something. At a point in one’s life, there will always be a time to enquire. Many enquire not from GOD, they get enquiry from other means. It is better and best to enquire from GOD, because GOD never fails. He is not a man that lies or the son of man that repents from what he says. Enquiring from GOD is always perfect and will save us a lot. GOD knows all; He is the Ancient of Days, Omnipotent and no searching of his understanding. The Gibeonites deceived the children of Israel, because they enquired not from GOD. Joshua 9 vs. 14: And the men took of their victuals and asked not counsel at the mouth of the LORD. It is always good to ask and enquire from GOD. Enquiring from GOD is you telling HIM, you are acknowledging HIM as your GOD and not leaning on your own understanding. Saul enquired not of the LORD, he asked his counsel from one that had a familiar spirit. He was slewed and his kingdom was turned unto David the son of Jesse. 1 Chronicles 10 vs. 13-14: So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it; And enquired not of the LORD; therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.

David’s secret was always enquiring from GOD. He asked GOD in 1 Chronicles 14 vs. 10: And David enquired of GOD, saying shall I go up against the Philistines? And wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, GO UP; for I will deliver them into thine hand. He enquired again in Vs. 14: Therefore David enquired again of GOD; and GOD said unto him, GO not up after them; turn away from them and come upon them over against the mulberry trees. He did the same when the Amalekites took their wives, sons and daughters captives. 1 Samuel 30 vs. 8: And David enquired at the LORD saying, shall I pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue; for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all. To pursue, overtake and recover all we have lost presently on in the past; let’s enquire from GOD.  Let’s be like David, he said in Psalm 27 vs. 4: One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after, that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquired in his temple. It is well with us….

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...
