PROFITABLE TO DIRECT

PROFITABLE TO DIRECT
This write up is a fact many ignore and it shouldn’t be ignored. When something is profitable it’s of benefit and a positive result will be obtained. Ecclesiastes 10 vs. 10: If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength; but wisdom is profitable to direct. Wisdom is a principal thing, we need to get it. It makes our task easy and our situations easy. Proverbs 4 vs. 7: Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom and with all thy getting get understanding. GOD himself created the heavens and all he made in wisdom. The bible says in Job 12 vs. 13: With him is wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding. The Psalmist said in Psalm 104 vs. 24: O LORD, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou made them all; the earth is full of thy riches. We need GOD’s wisdom in whatever we do on earth, for his wisdom is profitable to direct us. The wisdom in question is from GOD and is needed to be applied by men in all they do. GOD’s wisdom is beyond men’s comprehension. GOD is the giver of wisdom, and expect men to ask just like Solomon did, when they lack. The bible said wisdom is better than rubies and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge work together. Proverb 24 vs. 3-5: Through wisdom is a house builded; and by understanding it is established. And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is strong; yes, a man of knowledge increases strength.

Many a time, people are wroth and displeased about our existence. Many eyed us closely and ensure we fall. Many do things that disgust us and say it to our face. Many cast javelin and are ready to smite us to the wall. Many push us to the walls, and await our response. Many are jealous and unhappy for our progress. Many wish the earth opens up and swallow us, when they set their eyes on us. We need wisdom with such people, we should act like David. David behaved himself very wisely, despite all Saul did. Saul was wroth and displeased, because people ascribed unto David ten thousands, but to him thousand. He casted the javelin and wanted to smite David to the wall. Despite all these physical hatred, David still behaved himself wisely in all his ways. That is GOD’s wisdom in his life. 1 Samuel 18 vs. 14: And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the LORD was with him. Men’s wisdom would have told him to fight back and revenge, but GOD’s wisdom on him knew vengeance is for GOD and GOD will fight for him and he will hold his peace. The bible said Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was afraid of him. GOD’s wisdom is profitable to direct, get it by asking the giver of wisdom which is GOD. It continues tomorrow….It is well with us.

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
