FOR I KNOW

FOR I KNOW
GOD’s thought are not that of men, neither are His ways that of men. Isaiah 55 vs. 8-9: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. GOD has a plan for us irrespective of who we are. His thoughts toward us are good, peace and not of evil. GOD expects us all to get to that expected end. He created us all, GOD doesn’t create an imperfect thing, and all his creations are perfect. He knew us right from our mother’s womb. Isaiah 44 vs. 24: Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer; and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that make all things; that stretch forth the heavens alone, that spreads abroad the earth by myself. With GOD our future is bright, colorful, hopeful, glorious and achievable Jeremiah 29 vs.11: For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. The expected end is our future, hope and promise land. To get to this expected end, we need GOD. He must lead, we must follow; we mustn’t go ahead of him. This is a New Year; GOD has a plan for us this year. We must allow GOD lead us into his plans for us. He led the Israelites into the promise land; He is still able to lead his children to their promise land. GOD is the Good Shepherd, we are the sheep’s.

The Psalmist said The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; he leads me in the path of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I will fear no evil, for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. We need the Good Shepherd’s staff and rod to comfort us into GOD’s plans for us. The devil and his cohort will always be there to mislead us and divert us from GOD’s plan and ways for our lives. That is why we need the Good Shepherd to lead us through. John 10 vs. 14:  I am the Good Shepherd, and know my sheep; and am known of mine. Only GOD’s sheep seek HIM and find HIM. Only GOD’s sheep search HIM with their whole heart. Only GOD’s sheep are led by the Good Shepherd. We must be a sheep and not a goat. The sheep’s are on GOD’s right hand, but the goats are on the left. The sheep’s obey and do GOD’s will; the goats do not. Job said for I know my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. Let us enter into GOD’s plans by following his commands and will. It is well with us….

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...

TOLERANCE

TOLERANCE I start quoting Robert Green Ingersoll “Tolerance is giving every other human being every right that you claim for yourself ”. This is a virtue every man scarcely has nowadays. Men nowadays find it difficult to tolerate each other. In all religions, Christians are to exhibit tolerance the most; because CHRIST stated that it’s the second greatest commandment. Matthew 22 vs.38-39: This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. But the reverse is the case now, most Christians exhibit intolerance. They can’t tolerate their Christian brothers talk less of those outside their religion. This is awful and not so good. Hebrews 13 vs. 1-2: Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unaware. Abraham exhibited tolerance, he suddenly noticed three men coming toward him and ran to meet them and welcomed them. He gave them water to wash their feet’s...

WINNING THROUGH TESTIMONIES

WINNING THROUGH TESTIMONIES 2! An earthly father will be delighted and willing to do more for his son or daughter, when she/he shows gratitude. How will you feel when you give something tangible to a person and he didn’t show gratitude? You will feel unwilling to do more for such person. Our heavenly Father deserves to be shown gratitude for all He has done in our lives. Thank GOD for what He has done in the past, what He is doing presently and what He will do in the future. There is no little testimony; you just have to appreciate GOD for his faithfulness and marvelous deeds. Marvelous deeds like, the gift of life, which is the greatest of all blessings, good health and sound mind, sleeping and waking up. Many slept and never woke up, while many find it difficult to sleep. We have to see reasons to appreciate GOD; doing these will gladden Him to do more for us.              However, problems, trials, challenges might be in...
