NO RULE

NO RULE

Proverbs 25 vs. 28: He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. Many a times the spirit is willing not to, but the flesh does. The bible said the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. We must bring the flesh to subjection, so we don’t expose ourselves to the devil and his cohorts and also be a castaway at the end. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9 vs. 27: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection; lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. Having rule over one’s spirit is important. It is self-control! Many find it difficult controlling themselves; self-control mist be applied in all we do. Esau sold his birthright to Jacob, because he lacked self-control for his appetite. Moses’s anger caused him a lot; he could not get to the promise land. Joseph’s ability to control himself sexually took him from prison to palace. 1 Corinthians 3 vs. 16-17: Know ye not that ye are the temple of GOD, and that the Spirit of GOD dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of GOD, him shall GOD destroy; for the temple of GOD is holy, which temple ye are. We are GOD’s temple, He expects us to be pure and holy. His spirit in us helps us do the things of the spirit. When one does the things of the flesh, he has no rule over his own spirit, but when one do the things of the Spirit he will have rule over his spirit. Galatians 5 vs. 16: This I say then, walk in the spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. The devil looks for loop holes to enter into our lives, walking in the flesh gives him that access. Also, walking in the spirit of GOD denies the devil of that access. Self-control is easy when one is filled with the Spirit of GOD. The bible says in Ephesians 5 vs. 18: And be not drunk with wine, wherein in excess; but be filled with the Spirit. The GOD’s Spirit helps men’s spirit, provided men can live in holiness and righteousness. GOD’s Spirit only dwells in a hearts that is pure and clean, who has not lifted up his soul to vanity nor sworn deceitfully. The bible said vanity upon vanity all is vanity. Many men have lifted up their soul to vain things, things that please the flesh and does not edify the spirit. 1 Corinthians 10 vs. 23: All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient; all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. All things of the world, edifies not the spirit, but the flesh. The earlier we know this the better for us. Many are not controlled in the aspect of sleeping; they sleep when they should pray. Praying, fasting, studying and meditation of GOD’s word, speaking in the Holy Ghost edifies the spirit. Get a copy of my new book Are you a Boulder or an Outcrop? It is well with us….

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
