PROFITABLE TO DIRECT 2

PROFITABLE TO DIRECT 2
Hosea 4 vs.6 says: My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because thou hast rejected knowledge; I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me; seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy GOD, I will also forget thy children. Many have refuse to learn from their past, many have been destroyed for lack of knowledge. As Christians we are priest, but when we lack the knowledge of GOD and forget his law, then our priesthood is questionable. As priest of GOD we are to fear GOD; fearing GOD brings wisdom. As priest of GOD we are to get the knowledge of GOD which is the first step towards getting understanding. Proverb 9 vs. 10: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. 1 Peter 2 vs. 5:  Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to GOD by JESUS CHRIST. As priest we are to be holy, pure and offer to GOD things that please him. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that we should show forth the praises of him who hath called us out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Job was a perfect and upright man. He feared GOD and eschewed evil. This made him held fast his integrity, despite all he faced. GOD’s wisdom was evident on his life, because he feared GOD; no wonder he held to his integrity when the wife told him to curse GOD and die; no wonder he told his wife in Job 2 vs. 10: But he said unto her, thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaks. What? Shall we receive good at the hand of GOD, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips. Job’s wife exhibited the wisdom of men; but Job exhibited the true wisdom, which comes from GOD. The bible said Men know how to mine silver and refine gold. To dig iron from the earth and melt copper from stone. Men know how to tear apart flinty rocks and how to overturn the roots of mountains. But though men can do all these things, they don’t know where to find wisdom and understanding. Wisdom is far more valuable than gold and glass. It cannot be bought for jewels mounted in fine gold. Job 28 vs. 20: Then where can we get it? Where can it be found? Vs. 23 says: And GOD surely knows where it is to be found. Vs. 28: And this is what he says to all mankind; Look, to fear the LORD is true wisdom, to forsake evil is real understanding. True wisdom begins and ends with GOD. It continues tomorrow. It is well with us….

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...
