SEEK NOT YET REPOSE.

SEEK NOT YET REPOSE
A hymn says Christians seek not yet repose, cast thy dreams of ease away, thou art in the midst of foes, watch and pray. Principalities and powers, mustering their unseen array, wait for thy unguarded hours watch and pray. To repose is to lie at rest and to be at ease. The bible says we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Many a time we are at ease, our adversaries are not, they are going about seeking for whom to devour. We must rise up and wherefore take unto us, the whole armor of GOD that we may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all to stand. The evil day’s cometh, the days of battle lies ahead, we must be prepared, we are not to be weary; we are not to be at ease. The bible says right from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of Heaven suffered violence and violence take it by force. We are to be aggressive, for the enemies are; we are to pray without ceasing. We are to study to show ourselves approve unto GOD, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. We are to pull down everything that exalts itself against GOD, we are not to be lukewarm, and if we are he will spill us out of his mouth. We are to be on fire always because the devil is not resting.

However, the devil target our unguarded hours to strike us, the bible says but while men slept his enemies came and sow tares among his wheat and left. While we sleep naturally we are powerless, but a watchful and a prayerful man is powerful both physically and spiritually. A prayerful and watchful man is not at ease and rest, GOD will send his angels to encamp round him; the enemies won’t even near him, because of GOD’s Angels. The bible says when our enemies come like flood; the spirit of GOD will lift up a standard against them. The standard only works for a watchful and prayerful man. I want you to know this; the enemies will surely come as flood to attack, but only an alerted, a prayerful and watchful man will they not prevail against. Be alerted! Be watchful! Be prayerful! It is well with us…..

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

HE THAT COVERS

HE THAT COVERS To cover is to hide and to conceal. A man cannot be wiser than his Maker or Creator. GOD is our Maker; He molded us and formed us into what we are. He is the Potter, we are the clay. Jeremiah 18 vs. 6: O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? Says the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the Potter’s hand, so are you in my hand O house of Israel. GOD sees all and His foolishness is wiser than man’s strength. 1 Corinthians 1 vs. 25: Because the foolishness of GOD is wiser than men, and the weakness of GOD is stronger than men. A man that covers his sins prospers not; but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Proverbs 28 vs. 13: Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Cain was a tiller of the ground; Abel was his brother and was a keeper of sheep. Cain brought fruits of the soil as an offering to GOD, Abel also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat; which the...

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...
