THE SECRET OF VICTORY 1

THE SECRET OF VICTORY 1
A secret is a knowledge that is hidden. The word victory implies an instance of having won a competition or battle. Every man on earth has a battle to fight. This life is not a bed of roses; challenges will appear, confrontations will rise, difficulties will show up, storms will rage. John 16 vs. 33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In this world ye shall have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. CHRIST told us He has overcome the world. Battles, challenges, confrontations makes a man weary. It saps a man’s strength. A man’s energy and wisdom will fail him at the battle field of life. A man trusting in chariot and horses will be knocked down in the battle field of life. Pharaoh and his men trusted in their chariots and horses; but they ended up in the Red sea. The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 20 vs. 7: some trust in chariots and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the LORD our GOD. Only GOD can win every battles of life. Only HE is indomitable in the battle field of life. The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 24 vs. 7-8: Lift up your heads, O you gates and be you lifted up; you everlasting doors and the king of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD Strong and Mighty, the LORD Mighty in battle. He told the Israelites through Moses in Exodus 14 vs. 14: The LORD shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace. Only HE can fight for you, only HE can fight against your adversaries. Only HE can make you victorious in the battle field of life. He saves not with sword and spear. That battle is not yours; it’s of the LORD’s. 1 Samuel 17 vs. 47: And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saves not with sword and spear; for the battle is the LORD’s, and he will give you into our hands. The Israelites’ secret of victory in the battles they faced was GOD. But GOD made their enemies punish them, when they go against his will. That secret of victory is GOD. To be victorious you must know GOD and do his will. To be victorious righteousness must be your watchword. To be victorious your way must please GOD. Proverbs 16 vs.7: When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

David said I cannot go with these; for I have not proven them. And he put them off Saul’s armor, helmet of brass upon his head and sword. He had something he has proven, he had something he depended on. This was the secret of his victory against Goliath, he told Goliath; you come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield; but I come to you in the name of the LORD of host, the GOD of the armies of Israel whom you have defiled. 1 Samuel 17 vs. 45-46: Then said David to the Philistine, you come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield; but I come to you  in the name of the LORD of hosts, the GOD of the armies of Israel whom you have defiled. This day will the LORD deliver you into my hand; and I will smite you, and take your head from you; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistine this day to the fowls of the air, and to the wild beast of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a GOD in Israel. There is still a GOD called the Mighty Man in battle, that battle, confrontations, difficulties, challenges, sorrow you are facing is not yours. You can’t fight alone; you have to trust in the name of the LORD. This write up continues tomorrow, kindly share with others if you are being blessed reading these. It is well with us….

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

HE THAT COVERS

HE THAT COVERS To cover is to hide and to conceal. A man cannot be wiser than his Maker or Creator. GOD is our Maker; He molded us and formed us into what we are. He is the Potter, we are the clay. Jeremiah 18 vs. 6: O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? Says the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the Potter’s hand, so are you in my hand O house of Israel. GOD sees all and His foolishness is wiser than man’s strength. 1 Corinthians 1 vs. 25: Because the foolishness of GOD is wiser than men, and the weakness of GOD is stronger than men. A man that covers his sins prospers not; but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Proverbs 28 vs. 13: Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Cain was a tiller of the ground; Abel was his brother and was a keeper of sheep. Cain brought fruits of the soil as an offering to GOD, Abel also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat; which the...

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...
