THE DAYS OF ADVERSITY 2

THE DAYS OF ADVERSITY 2
This trend of write up continues from where it stopped. Joyce Meyer wrote “The eagle has no fear of adversity; we need to be like the eagle and have fearless spirit of a conqueror”. The Eagle is a distinct bird with various characteristics. Let’s consider some, The Eagle has vision; whenever an eagle sits high above the tree or cliff of a stiff mountain, it’s attentive. Its body sits still and the head will be tilted side to side to observe what is happening below, around and above it. Eagles have a keen vision. Their eyes are specially designed for long distance focus and clarity. Clarity and being focused on GOD brings one out of adversity. Job was focused in days of his adversity. Despite all that befell him, he never for once lost focus on GOD. His wife told him “Do you still retain your integrity? Curse GOD and die.” He didn’t sin with his lips, even while his friends scorned him and forgot him, he still focused on GOD. Job 16 vs. 20: My friends scorn me, but mine eye poureth out tears unto GOD. Job 19 vs. 14: My kinsfolk have failed, and my familiar friends have forgotten me. Yet he still prayed for them. He was focused on GOD, no wonder he said in Job 19 vs. 25: For I know that my Redeemer lives, and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the earth. Also, in Job 42 vs. 2: I know that you can do everything and that no thought can be withheld from you. Are you in challenges or adversity? Be focused on GOD, for Only Him is Able to make you come out victorious.

Moreover, another characteristic of an Eagle is that it is fearless. An eagle will never surrender to the size or strength of its prey. It will always give a fight to win its prey or regain its territory. Another characteristic of an eagle is that it is tenacious. Tenacious means; unwilling to yield or give up. It means doggedness. Whenever storm comes, other birds fly away from the storm with fear; an eagle spreads its mighty wings and uses the current to soar to greater heights. The eagle takes advantage of the very storm that lesser birds fear and head for cover. The days of adversity are inevitable. There are storms we will face, there are challenges we will face; there are difficulties we will face; only those who wait on GOD, shall he renew their strength. Only these people will mount up with wings as eagles, only these people will run and not be weary; and walk and not faint. Being focused on GOD, Being fearless and Being tenacious can make a man come out victorious in the days of Adversity. If this write up has blessed you, kindly share with others. It is well with us…. OUR DAYS.

OUR DAYS Greetings to all reading on this platform worldwide. I write on this topic OUR DAYS even as   my twin sister and I are a year older today. Glory be to GOD for a new year and a new day. A song says great is thy faithfulness, Oh LORD my father, morning by morning new mercies we see, all we have needed his hands have provided, Great is thy faithfulness. Truly great is his faithfulness toward all men. Many are not convinced of these, many don’t see something special in GOD’s faithfulness towards them. David said “Then I lay down and slept in peace and woke up safely, for the LORD was watching over me. He GOD never sleeps nor slumber over us, we just find out we sleep and before you know it, you open your eye to a new day. This is the LORD’s doing and it should be marvelous in our sights. We are to see reasons to always appreciate and thank GOD for his goodness, mercies and faithfulness. That you are alive shows He is faithful. The gift of life which is the greatest of...

MARCHING INTO VICTORY

MARCHING INTO VICTORY Welcome to a new month, this month marks the end of the first quarter of this year. Gradually this year is running. We bless the ALMIGHTY for his faithfulness so far in our lives. We bless HIM, for it is by HIS mercy that we are not consumed. We have to march into lifting and upliftment. We have to march into bountiful harvest. We have to march into joy unspeakable. We have to march into our promise land. We have to march into our possession. We have to march into opportunies. We have to march into testimonies. We have to march and progress into surplus and abundant. We have to march into favor. We have to match into breakthrough. We have to march into open doors. We have to march into open doors. We have to march out of sorrow. We have to march out of lack. We have to ma...

FAITHFUL WHO HAD PROMISED.

FAITHFUL WHO HAD PROMISED To be faithful is to be reliable, worthy of trust and consistent with reality. A faithful man pledges and might later be unfaithful. For instance, couples make vows at the altar during their wedding, but these vows don’t stop the man or woman from breaking promises and vow. A married man finds himself cheating outside marriage despite all vows made during his wedding, because he is not faithful. You find cheating outside marriage is a common thing now, which shouldn’t be. Husbands drink from your own well, stick to her and figure out things by praying together. Wives drink from your own well, stick to him no matter what he has done. A man is not the faithful who had promised, because men fails and break their promise. Only GOD is the faithful who had promised. The bible said cursed be he that put his trust in the arm of flesh. The arm of flesh will surely fail. You been promised something by your uncle or aunt doesn’t guarantee you will be given the th...
