BE STILL

BE STILL!
The word still means calmness, quiet or silent. It also means soft and gentle. Many a time in circumstances, many lose their stillness. Many are anxious and get worried. Many become disquieted and restless. Many are impatient when it comes to waiting on GOD. Waiting on GOD requires calmness and stillness. GOD’s way are not ours, His thoughts are not ours. His thoughts and plans toward us are of good and not of evil to give us an expected end. That expected end of yours will be accomplished only if you are still. We humans in this present world lack patience. Many find it difficult to exercise patience. Many find it difficult waiting on GOD. GOD is capable of doing exceeding; abundantly above all we could ever ask or think of. Ephesians 3 vs. 20: Now to HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Believing GOD for something and answers are yet to come doesn’t mean GOD will still not do. You have to be still for He will be glorified at last over what you are believing HIM for. Only those who are still when waiting on GOD will He strengthen. Only those who are still when waiting on GOD will run and not be weary; walk and not faint. Psalm 27 vs. 14: Wait on the LORD, be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart; wait I say on the LORD. Isaiah 40 vs. 31: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.
Moreover, GOD himself speaks with a still voice. He spoke to Elijah in a still small voice. 1 King 19 vs. 12-13: And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. And it was so, when Elijah heard it that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice to him, and said what do you here, Elijah? The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 23 vs. 2: He makes me to lie down in the green pasture; He leads me beside the still waters. The Good Shepherd JESUS leads his sheeps we his children through the still waters so we can be restored and strengthened; and also because He Himself is Still. Job was told to stand still and consider the wondrous works of GOD. Job 37 vs. 14: Hearken to this, o Job; stand still, and consider the wondrous works of GOD. On a final note, Psalm 107 vs. 29: He makes the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Those storms, difficulties, challenges, battles, unrest, sorrows, adversity, disturbances, confrontations can be still and calm only if we believe and know GOD is capable of making them still. Psalm 46 vs. 10: Be still and know that I am GOD; I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. GOD will be exalted and glorified over any challenges, adversity, disturbances, unrest, sorrow, reproach, difficulties of yours; just be still and know He is GOD. Has this write up blessed you? Kindly, share with others. It is well with us…

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
