NO SAFE PLACE!!

NO SAFE PLACE!
I have come to the conclusion that there is no safe place on earth. We see nations rising against nations; we see one race rising against another race. We hear unpleasant news daily from the media and internet. The world now is corrupt and filled with violence. Men’s heart is full of evil and desperate; who can know it. A man’s household turns out to be his enemies; a man’s friend turns out to be his foes. Many trust in their arm of flesh for safety, but the arm of flesh fails. Many trust in horses and chariots, but horses and chariots fails. Many trust in technology, but technology fails. When you look around the world today, you will also observe no place is safe. Even palaces and earthly kingdoms with guards and reinforcements, that still doesn’t guarantee safety. Even if a man secures his house with the most expensive security gadgets and measures, that still doesn’t guarantee his safety. Navigation on the sea with the largest vessel doesn’t guarantee safety. Boarding the largest aircraft, doesn’t guarantee safety. Travelling out of your country doesn’t guarantee safety. Travelling out of your continent to another continent, doesn’t guarantee safety. The Psalmist says in Psalm 127 vs. 1: Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it; except the LORD keep the city, the watchman wakes but in vain. Proverbs 21 vs. 31: The horse is prepared against the day of battle; but safety is of the LORD. Only in GOD can safety be found. Only in GOD can safety be guaranteed. Only in His name can men be saved. The only safest place is the NAME OF THE LORD. Proverbs 18 vs. 10: The name of the LORD is a strong tower, the righteous runs into it and is safe.

However, only the righteous can run into the NAME OF THE LORD. Only the righteous can the name work for. No wonder the Psalmist wrote in Psalm 121 vs. 7-8: The LORD shall preserve you from all evil, He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in, from this time fort and even for evermore. Also, Psalm 34 vs. 17-20: The righteous cry and the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite Spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous; but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones, not one of them is broken. Noah was a pleasure to the LORD during his time. The bible records he was the only truly righteous man living on the earth at that time. He tried always to conduct his affairs according to GOD’s will. GOD promised to keep him safe in the ark, he was asked to build with his wife, sons and their wives and pair of each kind of bird and animals. This shows only the righteous are safe in this fearful world. There is no place, be it on the sea; underneath the sea, on the land, underneath the land, in the air a righteous man cannot live. For GOD will never for once leave nor forsake him and will always show HIMSELF strong on his behalf. 2 Chronicles 16 vs. 9a : For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect towards HIM. Anywhere you find yourself, you are safe when your heart is perfect towards GOD. It is well with us….....

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
