GOD'S 3 ANSWERS TO REQUEST

GOD’S 3 ANSWERS TO REQUEST
Prayer is communicating with GOD. It also mean asking, requesting something from GOD. 2 Thessalonians 5 vs. 17: Pray without ceasing. James 5 vs. 16b: The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Every request and petitions need answers. Men pray believing GOD on something; to receive or for such thing to be granted. The bible said pray without ceasing; we have to keep hoping in GOD until he answers us. Mind you, GOD is more able to answer any request or petition you put before HIM. He has a lot of promises for us; we are to stand on them. The first answer to request is Yes. 2 Corinthians 1 vs. 20: For all the promises of GOD in Him are Yea and in Him Amen to the glory of GOD by us. CHRIST is the Yea and Amen. His name answers all. The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 66 vs. 18: If I regard iniquity in my heart, the LORD will not hear me. The effectual prayer of a righteous man works wonders. Many pray to GOD with a filthy garment. Many pray to GOD amiss. Many pray to GOD with a proud heart. Many pray to GOD giving GOD conditions. Many pray to GOD and are yet to receive answers. Many pray to GOD and are tired of seeking his face again. Many prays to GOD and don’t exercise patience. Many pray to GOD and can’t wait for His timing. GOD is OMNISCIENECE i.e. He knows all. Isaiah 55 vs. 8-9: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, ad my thoughts than your thoughts. He is a GOD of time and season. He has His own timing and appointed time, just for HIM to be glorified.

The second answer from GOD to our prayers and petition is Not Yet. Ecclesiastes 3 vs. 1: To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven. GOD saying not yet means He knows best. His timing is the best. Men might be in a hurry for answers to request; but if GOD is saying not yet; then the man has to wait. Abraham has a cordial relationship with GOD. He was a friend of GOD, yet at old age he has no son. GOD knew he needed a son, because all the promises He promised him someone must inherit and possess them. Genesis 15 vs. 3-4: And Abram said, Behold, to me you have given no seed; and lo, one born in my house is my heir. And behold, the word of the LORD came to him saying, this shall not be your heir, but he that shall come forth out of your own bowels shall be your heir. Genesis 17 vs. 21: But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year. Then, Genesis 21 vs. 1 says And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. Sarah couldn’t wait at first; she helped GOD giving Abraham her maid Hagar. The third answer is I have something better in mind. Hannah was mocked and scoffed at by Peninnah because she was barren. GOD had something better in mind for her. Samuel was a covenant child. He was indeed better than Peninnah’s children. 1 Samuel 2 vs. 26: And the child Samuel grew on and was in favor both with the LORD and also with men. GOD has his own timing for answers to request. Don’t help GOD devising other means; He hasn’t changed from being GOD. You have to hope, trust and keep believing him till He grants your heart desires. Hope in GOD is not ashamed. It is well with us…..

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
