PHILOSOPHY OF MEN 2

PHILOSOPHY OF MEN 2
Colossian 2 vs. 6 (KJV): As ye have therefore received CHRIST JESUS the LORD, so walk ye in Him. Vs. 7 (AMP): Have the roots (of your being) firmly and deeply planted (in HIM, fixed and founded in HIM), being continually built up in HIM, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving. GOD expects us to be rooted in HIM. He expects us to always gaze and look unto HIM, because He is the author and finisher of our faith. He sent JESUS CHRIST so we can be saved through HIM. He expects us to walk in HIM. He expects us to walk in the spirit, so as not to fulfill the lust of the flesh. All other ground are sinking sand, only on CHRIST is the solid ROCK. Our hope shouldn’t be built on nothing else, than JESUS. Hebrews 12 vs. 2: Looking unto JESUS the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of GOD. Philosophy of men is sinking sand. Philosophy of men will drown and collapse. Philosophy of men is deceit. Philosophy of men is a spoil. Philosophy of men put men in captive. Philosophy of men is insincere. Philosophy of men follows the rudiments of the world. Philosophy of men is out of CHRIST. Philosophy of men contradicts GOD’s will.
Colossian 2 vs. 8 (AMP): Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world; and not after CHRIST. We have to beware of the philosophy of men. We have to beware of human traditions that don’t glorify GOD. We have to beware of spiritual forces of this world. We have to be deeply rooted in CHRIST. Joseph was aware of the philosophy of men. His master’s wife casted her eye upon Joseph and said lie with me. But he refused, because he didn’t want to be spoiled. He refused, because he knew it contradicted GOD’s word. He refused, because he didn’t want to follow human tradition. He refused, because he knew it doesn’t glorify GOD. He refused, because he was deeply rooted in CHRIST. Genesis 39 vs. 7: And it came to pass after these things that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph, and she said, lie with me. Vs. 8: But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold my master woteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all he hath to my hand. Vs. 9: There is none greater in this house than I: neither hath he kept back anything from me but thou, because thou art his wife; how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against GOD? Are you deeply rooted in CHRIST? Let he that thinketh he stands, take heed lest he falls. It is well with us…

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
