7 VIRTUES YOU SHOULD GET !

7 VIRTUES YOU SHOULD GET!
Virtue is a good thing to have. It is an inherently advantageous excellent quality. A virtue is a particular manifestation of moral excellence in a person. It is an admirable quality. Show me a virtuous man and I will tell you he is full of virtues. A virtuous man has an excellent moral character. A virtuous man is good. A virtuous man is righteous. A virtuous man flourishes like a tree planted by the rivers of water; that brings forth his fruit in his season, his leaf also never withers. Whatever a virtuous does, it prospers. A virtuous man walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. A virtuous man delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night. GOD knows the way of the virtuous man, because he is righteous. A virtuous man is blessed, blessed is he when he goes out and come in. GOD’s name is on the virtuous man, and He blesses him. A virtuous man is called according to GOD’s purpose, therefore all things works together for his good and favor. Let’s consider the life of a virtuous man in the bible. Philippians 2 vs. 5: Let this mind be in you, which was also in CHRIST JESUS. Vs. 6-8 (NIV): Who, being in very nature GOD, did not consider equality with GOD something to be used to his own advantage. Rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death- even death on a cross. Vs. 9-11 (NIV): Therefore, GOD exalted him to the highest place and gave him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name. That at the name of JESUS every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. And every tongue acknowledges that JESUS CHRIST is LORD, to the glory of GOD the Father. JESUS CHRIST the son of GOD exhibited some qualities only a virtuous man can exhibit. He didn’t consider equality with GOD. He humbled himself; He obeyed his Father GOD by coming to the world, to die for our sins. He made himself nothing; He took the nature of a servant. Oh! Only a virtuous man can do such.
However, no wonder GOD exalted him to the highest place. No wonder He received ALL these seven virtues. Revelation 5 vs.12: Saying with a loud voice, worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches, and wisdom and strength and honor, and glory, and blessing. These seven virtues are worth getting and having; provided we can pay the price. CHRIST paid the price, He received all. He expects us to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. He expects us to take our cross and follow him. He expects us to witness for him. He expects us to obey and do his will. He expects us to exhibit CHRIST LIKE life. Philippians 2 vs. 12 (AMP): Therefore, my dear ones as you have always obeyed, so now, not only (with enthusiasm you would show) in my presence but, much more because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal) your salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation). It is well with us….

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
