PHILOSOPHY OF MEN 1

PHILOSOPHY OF MEN 1
Philosophy is a comprehensive system of belief. It is a general principle usually moral. Men’s way and thought are not that of GOD. Isaiah 55 vs. 8-9: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. No man on earth can be compared to the All WISE GOD. The bible said in 1 Corinthians 1 vs. 25: Because the foolishness of GOD is wiser than men; and the weakness of GOD is stronger than men. Vs. 26: (NIV): Brothers and sisters think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards, not many influential and powerful, not many of high and noble birth. Vs. 27 (KJV): But GOD hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and GOD hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. Vs. 28 (NIV): GOD chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things and the things that are not, to nullify the things that are, Vs.29 (KJV): That no flesh should glory in his presence. Philosophy of men sees taking GOD’s glory as nothing. Philosophy of men see GOD’s rule and will as a defect. Philosophy of men tries to bend GOD’s rule and will to their own taste. Philosophy of men sees these worldly things as everlasting. Philosophy of men takes vainglory. Philosophy of men sees this world as theirs. Philosophy of men loves the world and things that are in it. Philosophy of men sees prayer and fasting as futile. Philosophy of men walks not in the Spirit; but after the flesh. Philosophy of men sees their wisdom and knowledge as spontaneous.
These people also used the philosophy of men in Genesis 11 vs. 4: And they said go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole world. Vs. 5: And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. Vs. 6: And the LORD said, Behold the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do; and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. GOD confound their languages, that they may not understand one another’s speech. Vs. 9: Therefore, is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth; and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of the earth. Philosophy of men will surely fade and fail. Proverb 21 vs. 30: There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD. This write up continues…It is well with us.

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...
