MY PORTION 2

MY PORTION 2
This write up continues because, I got inspired to write more on this topic My Portion. GOD should have a lot or portion in our lives. Although, you have choice to devote your portion to GOD or the devil. I see portion as a plot of land owned by a man. He bought the plot of land and will decide what to put or erect on the land. He could choose to sell or lease the land. He has his decision to make, for he owns the portion of land. This man is just like all humans, we have portions which represent our lives. We have choice to make, either devote our lives to GOD or the devil. The bible said in Deuteronomy 30 vs. 19: I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. We have life and blessing or death and cursing; the choice is ours. It is always good to be on a safe side, that safest side is you choosing life and blessing. The safest side is you devoting your portion to GOD. The safest side is you serving GOD and not mammon. Luke 16 vs. 13: No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve GOD and mammon. You have to choose one master, but I beseech you; choose GOD. GOD is enough for you. Love GOD and give him your portion. Surrender your portion to GOD, let him rule and oversee it. Let GOD be your priority. GOD formed us and created us, don’t you think it’s good we give him back our lives. Don’t you think it’s good we give him that space and time in our lives? Don’t you think its good we invite him to stay forever in our lives? Don’t you think its good He controls and maintain our lives?
Revelation 3 vs. 20: Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. GOD is standing by the door of our lives and knocking, He expects us to hear and open the door of our lives so he sup with us, and us with HIM. How long do we want to keep GOD waiting? We have to cast down imaginations and high things that exalt itself against the knowledge of GOD. Whatever we highly esteem aside GOD should be casted down. We are to bring them into captivity to the obedience of CHRIST. Let’s make that decision and choice now, by giving GOD our totality. Let’s give GOD our lives, by confessing with our mouth we surrender all to HIM henceforth. It is well with us…..

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
