AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST
An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed. Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed. We have to cast all our care on him, for He cares for us. 1 Peter 5 vs. 7: Casting all your care upon him; for He careth for us. Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4 vs. 8-10: We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair. Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed. Always bearing about in the body the dying of the LORD JESUS, that the life of JESUS might be made manifest in our body.

Moreover, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah in Jeremiah 30 vs. 17: For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, said the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, this is Zion, whom no man seek after. This is the word of the LORD, where are you labeled an Outcast? Where have you been labeled no man seeks after? Where have you been asked can anything good come out of thee? Where have you been queried where is thy GOD? All these questions will make a man run to GOD. All these questions will make a man anxious and worried. Romans 8 vs. 19: For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of GOD. The Psalmist wrote in Psalm 42 vs. 1-3: As the hart pants after the water brooks, so pants my soul after you, O GOD. My soul thirsts for GOD, for the living GOD; when shall I come and appear before GOD? My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say to me, where is your GOD? But I love his courage in Vs. 5: Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted in me? hope you in GOD; for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance. We have to hope in GOD and believe in his promises to be victorious. Only GOD can answer all our petitions and requests. Only HIM can restore us back and heal our wounded heart. Only HIM is the present help in times of need. It is well with us..

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...
