WORK ON THE WORD!

WORK ON THE WORD!
GOD’s word is quick and power and sharper than any two-edged sword. Hebrews 4 vs. 12: For the word of GOD is alive and active. Sharper than any double- edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. GOD’s words are pure words; as silver tried in a furnace. Psalm 12 vs. 6: The words of the LORD are pure words; as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Work means something on which effort is expended. Effort is an endeavor. It is inputting an action. GOD’s word shouldn’t just be read, but must be acted on. It is essential we act and do what we profess in GOD’s word. Many read the word, but don’t act according to the word. GOD told Joshua in Joshua 1 vs. 7 (NIV):  Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. GOD’s words are his law and act; He expects us to do all that is written therein. We shouldn’t bend GOD’s word to our taste. We shouldn’t turn from it to the left or right. GOD’s word should be our compass which gives us direction and bearing. Whatever is not found in GOD’s word is contrary to GOD’s will and way. David wrote in Psalm 119 vs. 105 -106: Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I keep your righteous judgments. We are to perform GOD’s word and keep it just as David wrote. GOD‘s word should be our lamp and this will keep us from stumbling.

Moreover, GOD told Joshua in Joshua 1 vs. 8: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous and then thou shalt have good success. GOD’s word should not depart out of our mouth; we are to meditate on it day and night. Not only should we meditate, but observe and do according to all that is written therein. That is simply working on the word! Reading, Studying, Meditating, Observing, Acting and Performing all in GOD’s word equals to working on the word, which results in having your ways prosperous and having good success. Read, study, meditate, and perform all in GOD’s word today to have a prosperous and successful life. Kindly, share with others. It is well with us. RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
