EVERY GOOD THING!

EVERY GOOD THING!
Good things are things worthwhile; they are beneficial and favorable. Good things make a man comfortable, and make things easy for him. A good thing helps a man thrive and prosper in his doings. Everyone desires good things, but only few enjoy good things. There are good things that matter in life which when a man lacks; life becomes unbearable. There are good things a man shouldn’t lack. Isaiah 65 vs. 21-22: And they shall build houses, and inhabit them, and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build and another inhabits; they shall not plant, and another eats; for as the days of a tree are the days of my people; and my elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. Building good houses and inhabiting them, planting and eating the fruit, not building for another to inhabit, not planting for another to eat, having long life and sound mind as the days of the tree and enjoying the work of one’s hand are good things. 3 John 1 vs. 2: Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. Prospering in all you lay your hands, having good health, sound mind are good things. Proverb 18 vs. 22: Whoso finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the LORD. Having a good spouse, having good children, good job, good success, good rides, good health, sound mind, good wealth, good testimonies, good opportunities and other good things are good, but we must use them to glorify GOD.

However, James 1 vs. 17 (NIV): Every good thing and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. Every good things and perfect things comes from above and from THE FATHER OF LIGHT (GOD). He doesn’t change, there is no variableness. GOD is constant! GOD is stable! GOD is immutable! Oh Wonderful GOD! As children of GOD, we shouldn’t lack good thing, things that matter in life shouldn’t be deficient in our lives. Good things are meant for GOD’s children, those called according to His purpose. It is essential we ask THE FATHER OF LIGHT (GOD) when we lack any good thing. Jabez knew every good thing comes from GOD, he knew only GOD can change his sorrowful state to a joyous one, he called on GOD saying: “Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me”.  Matthew 7 vs. 7-8: Ask and it shall be given you, seek and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you. For everyone that ask receive; and he that seek finds, and to him that knocks it shall be opened. Vs. 11: If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father; which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him? GOD expects us to ask, He expect us to open our mouth so He will fill it with good things. Psalm 81 vs. 10: I am the LORD your GOD, which brought you out of the land of Egypt; open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.
This previous week, I have been asking GOD to fill my life with good life, sound mind, good health, good job, good rides, good houses, good children, good scholarships, good spouse, good blessings, good success, good breakthrough, good testimonies and all good things that matter in life to glorify Him only and I believe He has answered! Start this week by asking GOD to fill your lives with good things that matter to glorify HIM, don’t forget every good and perfect gift comes from HIM. Kindly, share with others. It is well with us!!!!

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

HE THAT COVERS

HE THAT COVERS To cover is to hide and to conceal. A man cannot be wiser than his Maker or Creator. GOD is our Maker; He molded us and formed us into what we are. He is the Potter, we are the clay. Jeremiah 18 vs. 6: O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? Says the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the Potter’s hand, so are you in my hand O house of Israel. GOD sees all and His foolishness is wiser than man’s strength. 1 Corinthians 1 vs. 25: Because the foolishness of GOD is wiser than men, and the weakness of GOD is stronger than men. A man that covers his sins prospers not; but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Proverbs 28 vs. 13: Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Cain was a tiller of the ground; Abel was his brother and was a keeper of sheep. Cain brought fruits of the soil as an offering to GOD, Abel also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat; which the...

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...
