LONG-SUFFERING

LONG-
SUFFERING
This word is a powerful word. Not everyone can exercise patience in some circumstances. Many get angry easily with just mere words, but a person that exhibit longsuffering will endure and be patience even while in pain. Longsuffering is having endured mental or physical discomfort for a protracted period of time patiently or without. A man that exhibit longsuffering is a man of the Spirit. Longsuffering is one of the fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5 vs. 22: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith. GOD is a Spirit, He told Moses in Exodus 34 vs. 6: And the LORD passed by before him and proclaimed; The LORD, The LORD GOD, MERCIFUL AND GRACIOUS, LONGSUFFERING AND ABUNDANT IN GOODNESS AND TRUTH. Vs. 7: Keeping mercy for thousand, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the Fathers upon the children and upon children’s children, to the third and to the fourth generation. GOD is longsuffering. He is a Merciful and Gracious GOD. He is Abundant in Goodness and Truth. He long suffers because He is Merciful and Gracious.

It hurts GOD when his creations commit sins or go against his will; but because of his love, he still patiently waits for us to repent. Romans 5 vs. 8: But GOD commended his love towards us, in that while we were yet sinners, CHRIST died for us. GOD’s foolishness is wiser than the wisdom of men. Many take this for granted and continue in sins. Remember, Romans 6 vs. 1: What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sins, that grace may abound? Vs. 2: GOD forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? As GOD’s creation we are to follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man will see GOD. Hebrews 12 vs. 14: Follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the LORD. As GOD’s creation we are to exhibit longsuffering. There are circumstances that will show up, we must endure and wait patiently on GOD. Many find it difficult enduring or waiting on GOD when in difficult situations, remember GOD is longsuffering. Many find it difficult to forgive others that offend them, remember GOD is longsuffering. Many get angry easily, remember GOD is longsuffering. Silence is golden, patience is not foolishness. It is well with us….

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...
