DO YOU WANT A LONG, GOOD LIFE 2?

DO YOU WANT A LONG, GOOD LIFE 2?
Psalm 34 vs. 12-13: What man is he that desires life, and loves many days that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking guile. If you want a long, good life keep your lips from lying. A lip that lies is contrary to the things of GOD. A lip that lies is the work of the flesh. A lip that lies is the work of the flesh. A lip that speaks guile is corrupt. Proverbs 12 vs. 22: Lying lips are abomination to the LORD, but they that deal truly are His delight. A lip that speaks guile is deceitful, deceptive, dishonest and fraud. A lip that speaks guile is an unclean lip. A man’s lip can be a snare to his soul. A man’s lips can destroy him. A man need to use his lips wisely. Wisdom is profitable to direct. Proverbs 13 vs. 3: He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life; but he that openeth wide his lips shall be destruction. To have a long, good life you must watch and keep the door of your lips. To have a long and good life you must greatly rejoice and sing unto the Redeemer with those lips. Psalm 51 vs. 15: O LORD, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. Psalm 71 vs. 23: My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

Lying lips, flattering lips, unclean lips, deceitful lips are abomination to the LORD. Psalm 12 vs. 3: The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips and the tongue that speaketh proud things. To have a long, good life you must keep your lips from all appearance of evil. 1 Peter 3 vs. 10: For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil and his lips that they speak no guile. It continues tomorrow. It is well with us.

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY

RETAINING YOUR INTEGRITY Integrity is a word which means steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. It also means the quality or condition of being complete and pure. It could also mean honesty, uprightness, purity, sincerity, decency, virtuous and wholeness. To retain is to keep in possession and maintain something. Many a time people find it difficult retaining their integrity. It takes determination to stand on your integrity. Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. GOD is a lover of men of integrity. Daniel 1 vs. 8-9: But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuch that he might not defile himself. Now GOD had brought Daniel into favor and tender love wi...

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...
