DO YOU WANT A LONG, GOOD LIFE 3?

DO YOU WANT A LONG, GOOD LIFE 3?
Psalm 34 vs. 14: Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Turning from all known sin is a key to life. The bible refers the soul that sinneth as the wicked. Ezekiel 18 vs. 4b : the soul that sinneth, it shall die. A soul that keeps sinning cannot live long and have good life. It is better to flee from all appearance of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5 vs. 22: Abstain from all appearance of evil and pursue it. This is for one’s benefit and generations to come. There is a saying that the evil that men do live after them. Why not pity your generations yet unborn, hold fast unto what is good, abstain from all sort of evil that might come back to haunt you. Show me a man that abstains from all appearance of evil and I will tell you he will have a long, good life. Show me a man that abstains not from all appearance of evil and I will tell you GOD’s face will be against such and will cut off such from the earth. Psalm 34 vs. 16: The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. A man that abstains from all appearance of evil will have long, good life because GOD’s eyes will always be upon him, because GOD’s ears will always be open to his cry; because GOD will always deliver him out of all troubles; because though he his afflicted, GOD will deliver him out of them all and keep his bones that not one will be broken. Psalm 34 vs. 15: The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous and His ears are open to their cry. Psalm 34 vs. 19-20: Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones not one of them is broken.

However, 1 Thessalonians 5 vs. 21: Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Being a righteous is a good thing. Walking in the Spirit is a good thing. Abstaining from all appearance of evil is a good thing. Loving your neighbor as yourself is a good thing. Reading and meditating GOD’s words and doing accordingly to what is written therein is a good thing. Following peace with all men is a good thing. Being identified as the sons and daughter of GOD is a good thing. Matthew 5 vs. 9: Blessed are the peacemakers; for they shall be called the children of GOD. Peace is one of the fruit of the spirit. A spirit filled being will be a peacemaker and not a troublemaker. Hebrews 12 vs. 14: Follow peace with all men, and holiness without which no man shall see the LORD. Do you want a long, good life? Then abstain from all appearances of evil, hold fast unto what is good and do it, live in peace with all men. Has this post blessed you? Kindly share with others, there is love in sharing. It is well with us!!!!

WORK ON THE WORD 2!

WORK ON THE WORD 2! David knew the essence of working on GOD’s word. He wrote in Psalm 33 vs. 4 (NIV): For the word of the LORD is right and true, he is faithful in all he does. He also hid GOD’s word in his heart that he might not sin against HIM. Psalm 119 vs. 11: Your words have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against you. Storing GOD’s word in our heart and doing according to it is working on the word. Keeping GOD’s commandment is working on his word. Proverbs 7 vs. 1-2: My sons, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you. Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.               Furthermore, working on GOD’s word is being the hearer and doer of the word. James wrote in James 1 vs. 22-24:  But be you doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer; he is like to a man beholding his natur...

AN OUTCAST

AN OUTCAST An outcast is one that has been excluded from a society or system. He is labeled a beggar. He is an outsider. An outcast is a person that lacks care. An outcast is neglected and overlooked. He is demoralized. He is wounded in heart. He is labeled whom no one cares. He is one that has lost hope. He is one who is frustrated and dejected. He is one who is always deep in thoughts and sorrowful. He is one who lives like a foreigner in his own land. He is one who is distressed. He is one who gets dispossessed of his possessions. He is one who is perplexed. He is one who is troubled on every side. He is one who is despair. He is afraid of tomorrow. CHRIST came that we might have a restored hope. He came to bare that burden of ours. He came to give us that expected end. He came that we might have peace. He came that we might be healed . Isaiah 53 vs. 5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and w...

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES

WHEN YOUR SAMUEL COMES Hannah made a vowed which GOD honors and remembered her.   1 Samuel 1 vs. 19-20: And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD and returned and came to their house to Ramah; and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. Wherefore it came to pass when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying because I have asked him of the LORD.      What a wonderful GOD! She asked for a man child and He gave her exactly. She should have asked for sets of twin or triplet, which GOD would have given her. There is nothing GOD cannot do, He cannot be limited. With Him all things are possible. Mind you Hannah fulfilled her vow by giving the son back to him. Many make vows and don’t fulfill it. Be conscious of these, GOD’s way are not the ways of men, His thoughts are not ours. GOD has his own timing. His timing doesn’t match with the timing of ...
